Nice restaurant on the marina

I felt a little strange going to an American based restaurant while visiting Panama, but it was hot outside and we needed a place to rest as we were walking along the Causeway. This Bennigans had a nice shaded patio overlooking the marina, so we gave it a shot. It has a mostly typical Bennigans... read more

Enjoying a drive on Amador when I saw this Bennigan's Restaurant and decided to have lunch. Nice clean restaurant near the marina and decorated for St. Patrick's Day next week. We enjoyed the lunch special which included an appetizer, sandwich, and dessert for under $10. I had boneless chicken fingers, a Monte Cristo sandwich, and brownie with ice cream. My... More

After our drive down the Amador Causeway and some light shopping nearby, four of us went to lunch at Bennigans. We sat on the outside covered patio which is less than spitting distance to the yacht harbor. Service was reasonably quick, friendly and attentive. The view across the harbor to the city skyline was spectacular. The four of us elected... More

We stopped for a refreshment on our walk to Isla a Flamenco. Our bartender was very pleasant, attentive and seemed generally happy we were there. He was a young fellow. He spoke some English. He seemed to really enjoy his job.

I went to the one on The Causeway. Awesome menu, good Margaritas, good service. BUT, the menu looks awesome but the roast beef dip wasn't roast beef, it was more like cheap steak with little flavor (but tender), and both orders of fish and chips the fish was partially mushy (undercooked, wrong type of fish for frying?). The kids chicken... More

Bennigan's has been remodeled, the result not better than before, however the place is by the sea. I understand that the franchise collapsed or was purchased by some other company. As it has become usual in Panama, the waiters were Colombians and the service was courteous even though not fast. The food was good, the prices according to the area.... More

The food and value for the lunch menu were good. The service was horrible. It looks like a new place and people are still training. Needs some work on this. All in all I recommend the lunch menu which includes 3 courses for a good price.

I went to Bennigan's Marina last week, after a couple of months of my last visit. Bennigan's went through a refurb that lasted a couple of months, so we wanted to check it out. The place looks nicer, but I much preferred how it looked before. Ok, so 7 people went on lunch time to celebrate a coworker's birthday. We... More

I loved the lunch special and we watched the World Cup game it was a fun atmoshphere. The waitress was just okay. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, and the food took a long time to come out. But after being in Central America a few days I think they just are different than The United States... More
