This was the first restaurant we visited in Panama City and we continually compared every other restaurant to it but none held up. We talked about going back again. The only thing stopping us was wanting to try as many restaurants as possible.

We were looking forward to a great dinner for our last night in Panama. Found it overpriced (especailly the wine and drinks) and it paled in comparison to our meal at Luna the night before.

Sorry, but I feel that we wasted one of only two nights in Panama City by dining here - there are so many excellent, interesting choices. Our friends chose it and we could not talk them out of it. I found it odd that the menu is strictly turistico, yet the servers didn't speak English (or Italian, for that matter).... More

We ate at La Posta while staying in Panama City at the advice of the staff at the Waldorf Astoria. We did not regret it. We had the sea bass, filet mignon and seafood spaghetti. All 3 were excellent. I absolutely loved the seafood spaghetti. The meals were reasonably priced and the staff were great. We had sparkling wine and... More

Quite nice place. The style is fine, so is the food. I d recommend it to one who spends a couple of nights to Panama City and wants a nice relaxing restaurant.

I had heard so many amazing things about La Posta, I could not wait to go. On the positive side, the service was attentive and very polished. On the negative side... the food was just so-so. We went with a group of friends for an intimate birthday party and were hoping for WOW. Sadly, I probably won't go back.

I went for lunch; I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I had Pizza with arugula and salmon; different but tasty.

We were with friends from Columbia so this was a first visit for all. I found the service and menu delightful, the room itself filled with little mementos of a different time. Would have loved to linger and ask questions and perhaps even explore the house. Apparently it was once an inn for overnight travelers and yellowed photographs declared a... More

Very nice surroundings and decor. Food options were good, although there are many fine restaurants in Panama City offering similar fare, but the dining experience was marred by a young waiter who clearly did not enjoy his job and had no hesitation displaying his boredom with the role. Compared to Madrigal or la Casa del mariscos, La Posta ranks a... More

We went in the restaurant for dinner. We had octopus for appetizer which was good even if we don't like fried, but that depends. For main course we had two fish course and two meat courses, which all were very nice. For dessert we had the recon abstain of the house- a banana tarte with ice cream, it was really... More
