I had heard so many amazing things about La Posta, I could not wait to go. On the positive side, the service was attentive and very polished. On the negative side... the food was just so-so. We went with a group of friends for an intimate birthday party and were hoping for WOW. Sadly, I probably won't go back.

I went for lunch; I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I had Pizza with arugula and salmon; different but tasty.

We were with friends from Columbia so this was a first visit for all. I found the service and menu delightful, the room itself filled with little mementos of a different time. Would have loved to linger and ask questions and perhaps even explore the house. Apparently it was once an inn for overnight travelers and yellowed photographs declared a... More

Very nice surroundings and decor. Food options were good, although there are many fine restaurants in Panama City offering similar fare, but the dining experience was marred by a young waiter who clearly did not enjoy his job and had no hesitation displaying his boredom with the role. Compared to Madrigal or la Casa del mariscos, La Posta ranks a... More

We went in the restaurant for dinner. We had octopus for appetizer which was good even if we don't like fried, but that depends. For main course we had two fish course and two meat courses, which all were very nice. For dessert we had the recon abstain of the house- a banana tarte with ice cream, it was really... More

The food and staff were both great, restaurant is in a house like setting, not like a formal restaurant without personality. Prices are very good for the quality of the food.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and by reviews on trip advisor the experience did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service. All within a pleasant laid back ambiance. Definitely worth checking out in Panama.

I ate at this restaurant while in town on business. The restaurant is very nice. The food was outstanding. The wine was sold by the bottle only. The price on the wine is so reasonable you really don't care. Most bottles are in the $25-$35 range. We had the fish and it was really good. I would suggest giving this... More

La Posta has a curious italian atmosphere with a great staff that never allows your wineglass to be empty or leaves you wanting in any other way. The food is great and the menu sports some interesting variations on classic italian dishes with tasty twists.

La Posta restaurant is a must if you are visiting Panama City and want to feel like you’ve spent time in an authentic welcoming establishment. The steaks, as well as the other offerings are great and they have a strong wine list. The staff are welcoming and the service is terrific. We felt that the other diners were a mix... More
