Unexpected wonderful evening

We (a party of 4) had a late dinner. Kitchen closes at 10.30pm. I expected restaurants would be open later in central america. Our first waiter didn't speak English, but the second did. His name was Henry and his waiting skills were excellent. He recommended a very good merlot from chili. I had the... read more

Looking for a great restaurant on Panama City, Panama. Check out this joint. Food is great. Service is great. Atmosphere is great and the staff is eager to please. If you are reading any of the negative reviews, those people were definitely not in the same restaurant I was in. If you ever find yourself in Panama, this place is... More

I was impressed. A visit for dinner started with a nice touch: a complimentary glass of champagne. The decor, staff, and food were all very good -- a polished operation that would seem at home in high-end neighborhoods in the U.S., but a setting and presentation that doesn't entirely lose its Central American feel. I liked it.

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Reservations were made by our hotel, very nice interior, stylish and subdued. Greeted, seated and offered drinks of prosecco, on the house. Ordered octopus 3ways and all 3 were tasty. Corvina and mero (sea bass and grouper), both were done differently and delicious and fries and grilled veggies all done perfectly. A... More

This is one of those restaurants that you must go to while in the Bilboa area. The service was fantastic - full on white table cloth service. The staff are well trained and very pleasant. The food was incredible. I had the Tuna with quinoa and some grilled vegetables and my husband seafood risotto along with salad. A glass of... More

We were seated immediately and while we waited on the third person in our party we were able to appreciate the decor (made me think of early Key West during Hemingway's time). The servers were very attentive and started us off with complimentary sparkling Cava. We shared an amazing grill seafood appetizer served in a platano hammock (lovely presentation). They... More

The food and the service at La Posta were delightful. The Crudo - carpaccio of corvine - was absolutely divine. I also had lobster, which was served as a tail grilled out of the shell, with rich tomato & parmesan risotto. Crème Brulee for dessert was delicious as well. The restaurant is lovely on the inside, (beautiful tile floors and... More

Stayed in Panama City for a total of 3 night. Luckily this Gem of a restaurant was right across the street from our hotel, and we ended up dinning there 3 nights in a row. Good service, great recommendations, delicious food.

Upon arrival to Panama City we kept strolling on Calle Uruguay, in search for restaurants and were not disappointed. Just before returning to our hotel we saw a sign: La Posta. Not knowing what it meant we looked for an entry point but found an empty parking lot. After a few tries we realized it was a restaurant, which ended... More
