Delicious dinner in perfect setting

It is hard to tell what we liked best: the delicious food or the lovely setting. We felt like eating in someone's gorgeous home. Unbeatable atmosphere! We ate here for the first time since the restaurant moved from Calle 49 to Calle Uruguay next to the Waldorf Astoria. This is where the elephant grill was previously located. The decor is largely taken from the old restaurant and it looks great. The new place seems a bit smaller than the old but is very comfortable. The service... More

Charming restaurant, great, efficient, friendly service, absolutely delicious food and beautiful presentation. Staff go above and beyond to welcome you whether you sit at the bar or at a table. Every table was taken by about 8:30pm, so make reservations or come earlier!

Great atmosphere, great food. Make a reservation as this place is always packed. I always order the short ribs with risotto...it has yet to disappoint

After walking for a few blocks in the oppressive Panama heat, the best thing about La Posta was that it was icy cold inside. I had Corvina en mojo con Yuca...it was good but the fish was a little undercooked. My husband had a delicious shrimp, cashew, and watercress dish (don't remember the name of it.) We shared a banana... More

The restaurant had lots of character. Great restaurant for a dinner date. Just be sure to make reservations ahead of time. Great variety on their menu with a mix of typical dishes and Italian options. Service was great too. I can't remember the waiter's name, but he was very attentive, friendly, and did a great job at explaining the items... More

Excellent food and very cool atmosphere -- like a tropical Ernest Hemingway hang-out. The burrata and octopus apps were fantastic. Really appreciated complimentary champagne at beginning of meal -- nice touch to our special occasion. Also right around the corner from our hotel (Waldorf), which was super convenient. Totally recommend this restaurant!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. The food was outstanding, and the personal friendly service was especially appreciated. Quite a good value too. Can't go wrong for a really nice pleasant dinner.

Just spectacular food and nice new building. You need reservations to get in building if they don't know you.

La Posta has moved and has lost its old place as a wonderful eating experience. The Corvina in parchment paper is still nicely done; however, the spaghetti and meat balls was horrific. Several people compared it to Chef Boyardee canned spaghetti and the meatballs were obviously reheated from a bag of frozen and were still cold. If you go in... More
