Must stop

This little coffee house also has great food. The fruit salad is cut when you order and is enough for four people!. Rick, the American owner, and his crew do a great job and are also knowledgeable and helpful. At minimum stop for a coffee. It is nice that they have almond and soy milk too.

They sell really good coffe. But the have the terrible influence of Starbucks with the incredible excessive size of the cups. Any way it is good. It is expensive.

Worth stopping in for a Panamanian coffee. Super historic building that is beautiful to sit in and the service is superb.

Neat spot owned by a U.S. expat. Great coffee drinks, delicious desserts, and terrific advice about where to eat and what to see in Casco Antiguo. Stop in for a treat!

We stayed at the Casa Sucre Boutique Hotel which included daily breakfast at the owners cafe downstairs. Each morning we were greeted with smiles and a seat in the cafe. My husband and I ordered the Casa Sucre Special, which was a Bagel with cheese, cream cheese, egg, bacon and side of tomatoes. We also split a Tamale. While both... More

We enjoyed getting coffee and fresh fruit at Casa Sucre. For lunch one day, we also tried the tamales, which are made by a Panamanian woman in her 80s who has been making them since she was a girl. The staff at Casa Sucre are very helpful and knowledgeable of the area as well.
