The concierge at the Riu recommended this restaurant and it was a great find! Expansive seafood menu, great prices, and nice homey atmosphere The ceviche is great, and don't forget to try the homemade peruvian hot sauce. We'll definitely be back!

I've only been to this restaurant once, but we had an excellent experience. I got the sea bass stuffed with shrimp served with veggies and a nice cream sauce. My husband got the cau cau (basically, a seafood medley). Both of our dishes were $15.00 and the portions were very generous, so we had to take a box home. We... More

The restaurant is located in the heart of the financial district in Panama City. Portions are generous and very tasty. You may also add the house hot sauce, which is also excellent. Most of the dishes are very reasonably priced, considering the area. You may not get this quality at these prices easily around any area of the city. Beers... More

This restaurant is located in an old house in the Obarrio neighborhood. We were a group of six and were seated in the separated back room which was great because we were having a great time and laughing loudly non stop. The restaurant was pretty crowded on a Saturday night, I do recommend reservations. We ordered fried and regular ceviche... More

The portions were big, the food was tasty and the price was reasonable. I would return if I were in Panama City again.

After much searching for a place to eat near our hotel, we found this Peruvian restaurant off the Main Street. The service was pleasant and e food good, and not too expensive.

I decided to give this place a try. It was close to my hotel & I came on a weekday. I apparently came in @ the right time (6P) as I had the place to myself. My drink order came lickity-split & decided on the Peruvian seafood soup (small) as the appetizer. I also chose the Peruvian seafood rice plate.... More

We were headed to another seafood restaurant some distance from our hotel. Our taxi driver said, why go that far when there is an excellent restaurant around the corner. We said "take us there" and so we arrived very shortly at a little house converted into a nice little restaurant. We were led to our table and presented with the... More

Service was ok. What else you can expect in panama right?. We ordered the pulpo al olivo. The Octopus was gummy. We tried papa a la Huancaina. The sauce doesnt have any flavor. I believe the cheese is the problem. Ceviche was just good enough. I wont come back.

Mar de Grau is a relatively new restaurant in Panama City. I went there with friends to celebrate my birthday. In addition to good Peruvian food they have a selection of Chinese food, the shrimp wantons are fabulous. My host urged me to try the lobster thermidor, which he highly recommended. It was delicious and very plentiful. Everyone was pleased... More
