While enjoying a walk in Casco Antigo we walked into this tiny coffee bar. We bought a bag of some good Panamanian beans and they grounded then while we were waiting. Coming back home in Punta Patilla we tasted what a delight we had bought. We'll go back for some more.

Wandered in to try their Geisha coffee at $6.50 per cup, apparently it sells for $50 per cup in Tokyo, making it one of the most expensive coffees in the world. The coffee was really bad, perhaps it is an acquired taste. My recommendation to the owner - ship it to Japan - let them have it and make some... More

Eating at Bajareque while waiting for a meeting. I was pretty sad to have a terrible breakfast here - great coffee as usual and the standard of presenting my cappucino was really high. However, the scrambled eggs were appalling - swimming in grease, undercooked white onion, and weirdly flavorless tomato, this was probably one of the worst breakfasts I have... More

Very nice establishment in Casco Viejo that carries not only caffeinated options for adults but also pastries and smoothies for children. My husband and I had iced coffee here and it was delicious. More expensive than we expected but still on par with the Starbucks back home. Service took a while but it was worth the wait.

Their coffee that comes in a yellow bag is more to my taste than the one in a red bag. I found it to have a bit of an odd after taste. If you don't have time to go there, you can also buy their beans at Riba Smith Grocery! Great take home souvenir.

The coffee is good, the ambiance casual -- but the owner is a gem. Catch him and he'll tell you how his family settled in the highlands near Boquete, how the coffee business has changed up to today's "third wave" of artisanal networks, how each stage of coffee processing works and how it can be varied for different taste effects,... Great service, snack options, and coffee in a cosy atmosphere. Couldn't resist trying the Geisha coffee (a rate and extremely expensive coffee) and found it deliciously unique--though a little too expensive to drink on a regular basis. Fortunately, the iced coffee we also bought was also good. And the latte ine member of our group got was done with an... More

Loved my morning cup of geisha coffee at $6.50 a cup. Pleasant atmosphere, good service. I'm looking forward to trying some of their tasty looking pastries.
