Nice Romantic little restaurant

This restaurant really IS hard to find. I had to ask quite a few locals for directions before we finally found it. It's on the 2nd floor in a white building through an oddly plain wooden door. Overall it is a good restaurant but not outstanding. The arhinestone and history of the building it a definite positive. The food is good, but not outstanding, it is also worth noting that it is a short menu for fussy eaters or people with dietary requirements. The service is good for Panama however standard for a restaurant at this price... More

Service was good but they did not have shrimp or our favorite dessert. It is a nice setting. The maps to find it are mostly wrong. It is on 48th st past most of the other restaurants on the north side. It is a white building. Prices are good b

The food and service were fabulous! It's very hard to find, but keep hunting because it's worth it. The menu is limited, but everyone (parents and four kids) found something great to eat. The art on the walls is gorgeous, and the artwork on the walls became a source of conversation for the evening.

We were staying in panama for a couple of days & as always checked out the local restaurants on trip advisor. This is a gem of a place very close to the Hilton, mieridian& the Waldorf although not an easy find.Valentine our waitress recommended 3 of our dishes & we were not disappointed, the sliced octopus salad, corvina, smoked duck,... Great service, interesting menu of well prepared food. Fairly priced. Wouldn't hesitate to return if back in Panama City.

We had dinner here, and it was fantastic. The dining room was modern, but elegant. There was also a very attractive outside area.. The food , service and presentation was excellent. Now we come to the question of how to find it. Stand at the front of El Carmen Church in the centre of Panama City, and take the road... More

We had dinner here on the outside patio. The waiters were very friendly and service oriented. The menu is not that extensive but the food is great. Both the food and wines are reasonably priced. I will definitely return here!

We were staying at the Miramar Intercontinental Hotel so it was a short walk to La Trona. I suggest taking the hotel cab for $5.00 and walking back. Go early and check out Weil Art store next door, unique Panamanian work of arts. Friendly staff in an intimate old house. The Taquitos de Credo Crocante were a burst of flavor,... More

This was my first trip to Panama and not only wasn't I pleasantly surprised by the city, I have to say what a great experience we had at La Tronda. It is a short walk from the financial district. The menu was diverse and honestly I had several entrees that I was interested in. I finally decided on the Langostinos... More
