They were one of the few restaurants that were open during the Holy Week so imagine the disappointment when we tried to order pizza but they said not available. I guess we will just have to wait for the next visit.

We ordered pizza and picked it up from this restaurant and it was very good. The sauce was fresh and the toppings were just perfect.

We saw this restaurant during daytime and were saying it would be a nice place to sit and sip a glass of wine. It was, however, not open around 7.30 p.m. When we went there at that time the place was empty. It took a while for the restaurant to fill up. We enjoyed the chairs made almost out of... More

It is a hot afternoon. You have been amazed by Casco Viejo and now you want peace, a nice beer and decent food. You stumble on this quiet place and the owner is Sardinian. Half way through the plate of Sole in a nice white wine source with some fried zucchini you are reminded just how good Italian food can... More

After a hot and tired drag around Casco Viejo, we stumbled on this pretty little trattoria. Terrific pizza, truly Italian, tasty Greek salad, lots of cold water, lovely view, excellent service. And inexpensive!

Panama City's Casco Viejo is becomming noisey and caotic with large numbers of visitors and ongoing restauration. La Rosa is welcomed relief. It's located on the water on a quiet side street where you dine on excellent food from the attentive husband/wife chef/hostess team. See other revews for food comments. Prices are very reasonable given the location and food quality.... More

We really enjoyed having dinner at La Rosa de los Vientos. The typical Italian food was excellent, It was very relaxing to have dinner at the beautiful terrace and enjoy the refreshing evening sea breeze. We will definitely come back here and would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous food, fabulous location. When dining in Casco Viejo, Panama City, Panama, choices of great restaurants abound. La Rosa has outdoor dining, on the seawall of Panama Bay, catching the evening sea breeze (which is a great thing to catch). But what really sets it apart is the food. Unique preparations and sauces, compliment the chef and he may well... More

We took six friends with us to this restaurant and every one of us ordered a different entree. Every morsel of food was outstanding! The owners, a Sardinian man and his Russian wife, and their Panamian staff, made us feel like royality. The restaurant is just around the corner from the church with the gold altar. Do not miss a... We stumbled upon this place by accident as we were checking out Casco Viejo. The Italian food and pizza drew us in. We enjoyed a relaxing and quite meal on the terrace which is actually across the small cobblestone street from the restaurant building. The chef greeted us when we arrived and took great care to tell us about the... More
