Mist go for boxing fans

A place with atmosphere even though it does not give that impression from the outside during daytime. and if you still remember or even have meet or seen Panamenean boxer legend Roberto Duran, then this is a "must go place" when in Panama. And actually he passes by quite frequently. Don't go with... read more

Great fish plates for the money. You might even get your picture taken with Roberto if he is there. Fights on tv, boxing history items etc ....

Bad service, warm beer, poor food.... Need I say more? The young lady behind the bar couldn't take her eyes off her phone long enough to acknowledge my existence... I was seconds away from walking out when a guy took my drink order... 20 minutes later he brought me a warm beer and took my food order... Wish I had... More

I went to this place to maybe meet Mr Duran, I read the reviews and people said it was average cost and food, as I arrived, there were street people at the curb and were screaming at me, saying hey gringo, gringo come here. made me feel like a bum. anyway went in and sat down, ordered a cheap panama... This was my Boyfriend's first trip to Panama , and the most important thing for him to do was to meet Roberto Duran ! I'm a Panamanian , so I was very excited to be back home. We where very happy to know that Roberto Duran has a restaurant in the city . When we arrived at the restaurant with... More

We received a recommendation to visit here from our hotel staff. They called and made a Saturday night reservation for us. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it was certainly lively and filled with locals. There were at least two birthday parties in progress. The service was friendly but I would say the food was mediocre. We had the calamari and... More

I've been to this restaurant a total of two times. Go in the weekends! You will usually find Roberto Duran himself there hosting the weekend events. He will drink a beer with you, sing with you, take a picture with you and make your evening one to remember. He is a great host and you can tell when he is... More

We were told that one of their local hero, a boxing champ, owned a restaurant and so we decided to give it a try. It's located just off Via Argentina. The atmosphere is warm and seems like one big happy family when we walked in. Lots of locals and tourists. Roberto 'Hands of Stone' Duran approached and welcomed us with... More

Walked in as it's just around the corner from our hotel. We had no idea it was owned by Roberto Duran, who was present and apparently almost always is. He was very welcoming and gracious, posing for photos and conversing freely. It was a great, night, I can't remember if the food was good so it probably was, and the... More

I had heard good things about this restaurant from a couple of different people. It is apparently owned by Roberto Duran (Who is a famous boxer) and his son Robin (who unbeknownst to me is a famous TV star in Panama) I visited on Saturday night May 23, 2015 with a Local Panamanian Female friend. The restaurant is bedecked with... More
