Cute and Authentic

We had a sampler platter for lunch of typical Panamanian food. The ceviche is excellent and the calamari with dipping sauces was fantastic. There was also a pork wrapped with some sort of yucca flour exterior breading and it was good, but too much breading for me. The banana sauce served with it... read more

Warning: don't do it. The ceviche was really good. Everything else was a disappointment. I'm one to usually finish a plate, but I couldn't stomach to eat the main dish here. And then the service just went down hill when the credit card machine went down and they didn't have a work around for it. Needless to say we spent... More

I went to this place solo an hour before their signature show on a Thursday night. I was not aware that I needed a reservation. Although a couple in front of me was sat in the main floor where the show was to occur, they sat me on the second floor, which had no viewing for the show. They too... More

Tasty food and good service. We looked at menus and prices at several restaurants on this street and chose Diablicos. We were not disappointed!

We were there for lunch on the 24th of December and the owner (Nice and chatty guy) told us that the next they that had Folkloric music and dance; made the reservation, came back next day and they didn't honour it, the hostess wasn't even apologetic. Food is nice, service is OK, is definitely a good option for Panameña food,... More

For local Panamanian food its the best overall place to eat in Panama. Location can be tricky so plan ahead.

Its proximity to the waterfront, theatre and hotels makes this authentic cafe skew toward tourists - waiters in traditional costume, higher prices, etc. The food was still really great and on New Years Day it was the only spot open for lunch so we couldn't complain. They welcomed us, took great care of us, and finally admitted they were all... More

Food wasn't bad but expensive considering we were sitting on plastic chairs. Waiter was very courteous but the host was a grumpy old man!
