Nice restaurant, typical food

We went to this place with some friends from Panama who recommended the place and we can definitely say that we were not disappointed. Food there is very good, the atmosphere is lively and international and if you walk around a bit you have a great view of the impressive skyline of Panama City.

Went with a business colleague to try Panamanian cuisine. Sad experience! First. With a confirmed reservation, we walk in to announce ourselves. The waiter asks the "capitan" about our reservation. He emphatically said there was no such reservation without even looking at any book/agenda. But sent us to a table that is in the way to the ladies restroom on... More

We ended up here when the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. We were a party of nine, and most enjoyed their food. The best meal was the Ropa Vieja--shredded sirloin with a side of the local rice and beans, plus patacones (mashed and fried plantains, the local chip equivalent). My chicken was also good, but not exceptional,... More

I went to the restaurant located in the historical part of the city "Casco Antiguo ", which makes it enchanting. They serve delicious authentic local cuisine combined with a friendly staff which makes this a very charming place. The main dining area is beautifully decorated and they have a folkloric dance show in the Fevenings. Outside sitting is lovely! No... More

This was an excellent night with a good friend enjoying very good food and entertainment. It was my goal in get more in the culture of Panama during my second visit. This restaurant embodies the culture and is very attractive to North American and European tourists and travelers. I ordered a filet of fish with creole sauce served with tradition... More

We ate at Diablicos on a Saturday night. We were informed beforehand that they had an authentic dance performance in the restaurant. We were greeted and promptly seated upon our arrival. We ordered 2 mojitos. We started with the empanadas and plantain appetizer. Both were good but heavy due to both being fried. I got the blackened fish entree. It... More

This section of Panama City is worth the drive to see to appreciate n enjoy the lovely neighborhood of El Casco Viejo distinguished by it's charming Colonial architecture and narrow picturesque streets reminiscent of some European cities. The streets are clean and the presence of the "Policia de Turismo" makes for a relaxed walkable atmosphere. There are many quaint dining... More

Where I take friends and visitors in Casco Antiguo. Diablicos has very good Panamanian "traditional" food with excellent service. The corvina ceviche served in halves of coconut, is outstanding. The garlic corvina (sea bass) fish is, for me, always a treat. Jose, our waiter, was right on top of everything...and patient even during lunch rush hour. Kudos! Also: If you... More

We were lucky enough to get a private tour guide who showed us around downtown Panama City. He suggested this restaurant for lunch and we were very impressed with the service, the portion sizes and the flavours. We tried the appetizer platter with the ceviche, seafood stuffed plantains and calamari. All of it was delicious. I had the jumbo shrimp... More
