Lunch

Wow the seafood soup was very good. It was $15 for a bowl, but it was a nice experience. The service was good as well. I didnt give 5 stars because it was a bit expensive for a bowl of soup during lunch. I sat outside so I cant comment on the interior.

This was a restaurant in the old city recommended to us by our hotel. It was a short walk. The masks and decorations speak to a Panama of old. The food was good and the wait staff attentive, but you must get used to the hispanic style of service. They leave you alone, but do walk by. It is up... More

We ate at the Diablicos restaurant as recommended by our tour guide. The food was very good and the waiters seemed to want to please us. We loved them wearing their typical Panamanian clothing, and they enjoyed letting us take a picture of them. The location in old Panama City is very good. I would eat there again!

We had two meals at this restaurant during our month long vacation in Panama. The first meal was excellent. The second meal was terrible. My husband had a caesar salad that was served without any dressing and the lettuce was bad. To give the restaurant credit, they did not charge us for the salad. My pasta dish was served with... Went with a business colleague to try Panamanian cuisine. Sad experience! First. With a confirmed reservation, we walk in to announce ourselves. The waiter asks the "capitan" about our reservation. He emphatically said there was no such reservation without even looking at any book/agenda. But sent us to a table that is in the way to the ladies restroom on... More

We ended up here when the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. We were a party of nine, and most enjoyed their food. The best meal was the Ropa Vieja--shredded sirloin with a side of the local rice and beans, plus patacones (mashed and fried plantains, the local chip equivalent). My chicken was also good, but not exceptional,... More

We went to this place with some friends from Panama who recommended the place and we can definitely say that we were not disappointed. Food there is very good, the atmosphere is lively and international and if you walk around a bit you have a great view of the impressive skyline of Panama City.

I went to the restaurant located in the historical part of the city "Casco Antiguo ", which makes it enchanting. They serve delicious authentic local cuisine combined with a friendly staff which makes this a very charming place. The main dining area is beautifully decorated and they have a folkloric dance show in the Fevenings. Outside sitting is lovely! No... More

This was an excellent night with a good friend enjoying very good food and entertainment. It was my goal in get more in the culture of Panama during my second visit. This restaurant embodies the culture and is very attractive to North American and European tourists and travelers. I ordered a filet of fish with creole sauce served with tradition... More

We ate at Diablicos on a Saturday night. We were informed beforehand that they had an authentic dance performance in the restaurant. We were greeted and promptly seated upon our arrival. We ordered 2 mojitos. We started with the empanadas and plantain appetizer. Both were good but heavy due to both being fried. I got the blackened fish entree. It... More
