My family and I visited Casco Viejo with one of the local tour guides, Carlos. He actually recommended this restaurant for our lunch since we wanted Panamanian food. The decor is vibrant and the service was excellent. My waiter recommended the Sea Bass which turned out to be an entire fish (I thought it was fillets) but my goodness it... More

We weren't expecting the live traditional music and dance exhibition, so that was an unexpected "bonus." It's fairly well done, though we totally felt like the tourists we were. The food is unremarkable, but the margarita, we asked for tart, was good. In contrast to the many other sophisticated options nearby, this was a fun, casual, colorful evening.

This restaurant was a good choice. The fish was delicious. The waitress was very kind and there are english speaking staff available to explain the entrees. If you visit Panama please visit this restaurant. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and several tour guides that we had along the way!!

This place charges you threw the roof for "traditional" food made in a none traditional way. After coming to Panama for 10 years. This place feels like robbery to me. Even when you send back your food, they will still charge you.

I found this place by chance, while walking around the old town. The owner happened to be outside the restaurant, before it opened. He invited me to come inside and look at the menu. I asked him why most restaurants in Panama only serves "sea bass" (locally, corvina). He assured me that his restaurant serves mahi-mahi, tuna, etc. And that... More

The waiter wasn't too friendly. In the end he wanted to charge us more than we actually had ordered. He then took it off...

Finding a good place to eat in the Casco Antiguo isn't that hard since there are many choices. But finding just the right spot at the right time can be tricky. I was directed to Diablicos by a local (who has guided me around Casco in the past). I had the Lechona Santena (pork with tamale and ripe plantains) with... More

The place is a rip off in my view. Food is so so (half of use liked ours, half did not..mine was very dry) and you can get better elsewhere. The prices where relatively high, and worse, the service was just about selling and increasing the bill and getting you out to put more bodies in the seats. When i asked... More
