We had eaten at Don Patacon in the past and the food was actually quite good. Not sure what may have happened but it has closed and there is now a sports bar in its place.

Service need improve and menu must be changes. There is a lot of disconnected food in the menu. Another point is the chairs and tables...small tables, not confortable chairs.

I wasn't expecting anything from this restaurant. I just stepped in one day with my family and, after giving a glance to the menu, I understood I was about to have a taste of good cuisine. And I was right. Everything was tasty yet balanced. The environment was quiet and sophisticated to some extent, but still comfortable. I would go... More

This place is very good to taste some real Panamanian cousin....gourmet style. The food is delicious, and even though it is gourmet, the plates are generous. The restaurant is loveley decorated. Will be comming back..

not typical classical... Located in Via Israel near a main shopping centre, parking is not a great issue. The ambiance is new modern, contemporary... The food quality is very good and interesting, total mixture of local produce with Mediterranean spices or whatever part of the world; don't miss the classic fried plantains. The menu I found a bit small.. Prices??... More

The interior sets the tone for an amazing exploration of the typical Panamanian food yet finished to tastes and presentation, results of a comtemporary art from the kitchen. Yes they serve patacones -not only to honour their name of course- but they are so nicely thin and gold-fried crispy and well accompanied with three house made dips of fresh vegis... More

I read this was one of the better restaurants in a review of the city. I've probably eaten in 50 restaurants and this is one of the worst values. The Corvina was just OK, the potatos very buttery and cold, and the service just OK.
