Probably the best place in casco viejo

I must admit it looked a little touristic when we first passed Casablanca, but compared to the other places in casco viejo it's definitely a plus to be able to sit outside on the square. Good food too and not more expensive then other 'American'-style restaurants around there. The Pineapple filled... read more

We sat across the street from the restaurant on the patio set up on the sidewalk of the plaza. Great seating and great people watching. Food was great. Best mussels I've ever had.

I would highly recommend Casablanca to all. It is centrally located in the Old City. The menu items are very unique and "out of the box." But the mix of flavors were exceptional. Be sure to make reservations as they are very popular.

Food is good, the location is good mainly because it is a quite area, so good for dinner. The tables outside are very nice. The ceviche is very good! and also the salads.

We chose alfresco. Service was prompt and food was good and moderately expensive Changed servers near end of meal and waited longer than would have liked to get check. Was made up by entertainment of a server trying to entice a neighborhood dog away from diners. He was very personable and persistent as was the dog! I would return when... More

We had lunch at Casablanca. Their service is probably not so fast, but the waiter attitude was excellent! You don't necessarily have to leave tips in Panama, since it is included in the invoices, but we gave him a tip. Lenin was our waiter and he kindly gave us a quick explanation about Casablanca's options for lunch. He gave us... More

Sitting outside in the Square was a great way to end the day of walking through the old city. The seafood in a half pineapple was very good. The shrimp pasta was also very good however the bread was stale. Not eating bread did save the calories The only other complaint was they serve Pepsi instead of Coke. The service was... More

For our last night in Panama and in Casco Viejo we chose to eat at the Casablanca where we could sit outdoors in the Simon Bolivar Plaza. There was a variety of musicians who performed and wonderful people watching in the plaza. The setting at night was wonderful. It was very busy as Sat night and payday at the end... More

We stopped for some afternoon cocktails. Friendly wait staff. We ended up staying and dining with friends. 3 star rating is because my shrimp was mis cooked (fruity, mango-y sauce instead of hot n spicy). The waitress happily brought it back to the kitchen however the chef simply added some diablo sauce and didn't remake the dish. Tasted very odd.... More
