Better for dinner, not lunch

Great location in the old town right on a square. We went for lunch and it was nice sitting outside with the shade of the umbrellas but I could see where night time would be a much better atmosphere. We were in-between appointments and thought one & a 1/2 hours would be enough, but we had to rush... read more

We stayed two separate weekends in Panama City in February at an apartment above this restaurant so had the opportunity to eat there three separate times and had a great experience each and every time. Every meal, from the coconut-curry bowl and seafood paella to a range of different ceviches, were well presented and palate-pleasing. The service got a little... More

This restaurant came highly recommended. I would think twice. 45 minute wait for food after ordering. Poor service. Understaffed. Shrimp dish with pinapple had to be returned because shrimp were not fresh.

This restaurant is in the "Casco Antiguo" (Old Town) of Panama City, the tables are outdoors right in the street and is part of a row of four restaurants in the sidewalk of a square. The food is very good, serving various international food but I recommend the seafood in several of their presentations. You can also enjoy street musicians... More

I may be unusual, but I don't like air conditioning! I come to a warm climate to enjoy the outdoors and the location of this restaurant on the plaza was just right for lunch. There was a large menu, but we both had salads, which were not bad but only average, small in size and mine (the Greek) was really... More

The environment is amazing! Not only Casco Viejo is a great place to go for lunch, the whole ambience set up by the restaurant is very cozy. I really recommend the steak with caramel carrots and orange sauce with patacones. It is to die for! And the cost-benefit is worth!

We just ate there. Being hot we wanted to eat inside. Despite numerous open tables they insisted that we had to set by the door. The staff were constantly going in and out leaving the door open. So much for air conditioning. If that were not bad enough staff and patrons were bumping into out chairs despite ample room to... More

Cooked perfectly. Complements to the chef and kitchen. Don't forget to try the Sangria. Apps, drinks, mains for four and two pitxhers of Sangria. $152. Plus extra tip. Great value.

On our way to Costa Rica we have a stopover for 1 night in Panama. Casablanca was referred to us by our hotel. Beautiful downtown! We had sangria to start very good. Ceviche was ordered by table they loved it. Earth and fire prawns in a coconut sauce excellent. Peruvian rice excellent, and sea bass another excellent meal. Good portions... More
