The food and location for this restaurant is amazing!! I ate there last Monday and I can say that it was amazing food. The location is perfect as it over looks Panama City and a Marina!! I had the 3 Pepper Tuna and it was great!! The only draw back is the service is a little slow but this restaurant... More

I went there to have lunch on a Sunday. The food was not up to the price and the service was slow. I would recommend other places, this one is too pricey for the quality you can get.

Almost two years from my last visit, I can tell you that the food still good. Shrimps with coconut, Corvina's ceviche and peppered salmon are great. Service is friendly but very slow. They need to be awake!! The trip to the island have traffic but it's worth.

we went in a group of 12 on a weeknight and they couldn't handle us well. The seafood was pretty good, especially the corvine, and the ambiance was nice. A little steamy, but that's Panama. mixed seafood appetizer was a hit with the group

Barko was a great find on the quiet island of Perico located on the Amador Causeway in Panama City. With a nice view of Panama Bay and a strong breeze on a hot day it was an enjoyable experience. The wait staff was very attentive and there were plenty of options to satisfy your palette. I would recommend the garlic... More

In late April we went to Panama and our first lunch was at Barko. We had a good lunch with a cool breeze and a wonderful view of the boats coming and going.

The setting of the restaurant is quite nice, but that is basically it! We ordered two salads - served in a bread bowl. First of all, the bread bowl was missing! One of the salads was supposed to have a low fat / light sesame dressing - there was no real dressing on it, they just poured a huge amout... More

Sorry to hear that... but please read the menú description first before taking your time to try and destroy a restaurants reputation. You had a choice of main for the salad... shrimop, fish, chiken, salmon or tuna.. we ran out of fresh tuna during Holy Friday and fish market closed. Our cesar salad dressing is MADE with anchovies, it doesnt... More

We were just getting acquainted with the area as this was our first night in Panama. Stopped for a drink at Barko & we had trouble communicating with wait staff...so we were not going to stay and eat there. Then the owner, Michael Brown, pops over & being from New Zealand, spoke English. We had a great (& informative) conversation... More

Our group of six had stopped for drinks and after talking to the very helpful and charming owner/manager, Micheal, decided to stay for dinner which turned out to be one of the best meals ever! The seafood was fresh and seasoned to perfection... My husband's tuna was a house specialty and we will probably return for seconds! I would so... More

After a wonderful trip to Isla Contadora, finding a flat tire on our car at Balboa Yacht Club we opted for eating on Amador than going to El Cangrego. We stopped in at Barko and were pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of Gabriel, our server. We ordered sangria and he brought a bucket of ice without us asking us if... More
