Las Clementinas Cafe and Bar is an iconic restaurant in Casco Viejo. While the ambiance is distinctively Old Panama, our menu might be described as contemporary Panamanian comfort food. Our highest culinary priority is to use the best local, traditional ingredients we can find while exploring the medley of cultures that have made Panama one of the great cross roads of the world.

We had just gotten out of our uber ride, were starving and looking for the first place we could find to eat. Lucky for us it was Clementines. I had the herbed chicken and my husband had the croque madam. Presentation was beautiful

We came here with a group of 13 people and had dinner in a private room. The service was awesome and the food was really delicious. I had grilled white fish for dinner and the portion was just right, the flavor was on point and the dessert was also really good. This place was packed and now I know why.... More

This restaurant will be on my list of places to visit each time I come to Panama. The guacamole with shrimp chips is so good, I want to go back again and again just for that dish, and next time I won't want to share with others. Then I ordered grilled dorado (Mahi Mahi) with veg. It was perfect. I... More

Advise to choose a table on terasse - it is hidden in internal yard with palms and flowers - great place. Food was vry good. Try ceviche, and carrot cake for a dessert!

We enjoyed a five course New Year's Eve meal at Las Clementinas and enjoyed every bite of it! From delicious amuse bouche options (which included a few alternatives for my gluten free wife) to a sea bass ceviche "cocktail" and a refreshing hearts of palm salad and a "fruitcake" dessert, we were thoroughly impressed! The restaurant setting couldn't be more... More

Las Clementinas is beautifully located in Casco Antiguo. The food and drinks are delicious. We had the ceviche and it was hands down one of the best I had on the trip. Fresh and very flavorful!

Our best meal in Panama! As adjoining hotel guests, we tried this charming restaurant on the last evening of our trip....SWOON...wish we had tried earlier! Jazz music plays softly in the background, friendly attentive servers, delicious and well presented food! Our family of four tried guacamole, spring rolls, shrimp dumplings for appetizers; cannelloni, gnocchi, grilled fish for dinner; vanilla ice... More

Important suggestion: Make a reservation for a Sunday morning brunch as it fills up fast. I found service to be quick and the food portions perfect for a hot and humid Sunday morning. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and bistro-style ambiance. However, it is one of the very few restaurants in Panama where tip is not included... More
