This restaurant is a little off the road, so get the exact address when you go. Only a tiny street sign marks the unassuming residential looking building that houses La Chesa, but inside it is very attractive. English is a bit of struggle for the staff, but fortunately, it's hard to go wrong with the great food. Local seafood and... More

Although not extraordinary, food was excellent. Starters: grilled octopus and arugula salad with pears and nuts were very good; we also ordered the Cavatelli Salsicha y Ricotta as a starter, although it is a second course dish, which was magnificent. For the main dish I ordered the Tagliata Rucola Grana y Balsamico; which is a sliced tenderloin with arugula and... More

The place is hard to find because the restaurant is only open at night, but it has to be earned. Had the impression of being part of a small circle of Gourmet. Stylish ambience, decorated with taste. The chef is Italian and the food is excellent. Worth a visit

Panama is a pain with poor street signage, no numbers etc, but Le Chesa takes it to another level. No signage whatesover and you have no idea whether you are at the correct place until you ask one of the waiters. So after a frustrating 20 min trying to find this place, we finally arrived. Started with the frito misto... More

Nice place with good food. I like the prix fixe concept and although choice is limited, they have great options per course. Intimate atmosphere. For me one of the better restaurants in Panama City.

I have eaten at La Chesa many times and have never been disappointed. The garden in front is a serene and beautiful place to start the evening with a glass of prosecco. The decor of the dining rooms shows such attention to detail and it's like being in a private home. The food is always great, from the appetizers to... More

This without doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in Panama City. The place is very nicely decorated in a traditional way. Service is great, the staff very helpful. The food is excellent, although you are limited to a small menu from which you can elect a combination of 2 plates, small sized. I found this a bit restrictive since... More

Upon arrival you are served a complimentary glass of champagne, which is fantastic. At first glance the Antipasto plates seems like you will be leaving the restaurant with room for more food. However its quite the opposite. They offer you four dishes all the right portions and all totalling the perfect amount to make a completely satifying meal. The service... More
