This chic venue deserves a reservation. Frequented by Panama's finest and gourmet tourists, this inviting scene maintains a warm vibe. A fusion of Spanish gastronomy and Panamanian ingredients, the result is a treat to the taste buds. The wine list compliments the exquisite food. Invite your friends and savor a delightful evening.

Had a really lovely meal with friends from Panama City who recommend this restaurant. We sat outside next to the garden. It has the feeling of being in someones home. We tried 3 appetizers, all delicious. My entree was the Seared Tuna- it was fantastic. Very good service and friendly staff. The dessert was out of this world! It was... More

Everything in the menu is really good. Love the outdoor ambient at night. The ingredients they use are grown on their own garden and you can see and taste the freshness in the dishes. Need to reserved in advance, they are always booked.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed. Ariana was the first person I spoke with: And all through my stay (8 days). she helped me in every aspect of my trip. She spoke English Muy bien and she continued being a friend and she was very professional. The breakfast was so fantastic that I skipped lunch saving... More

It is not cheapest place in town, but it certainly worth a visit at least once. Food there is rather art, but really delicious art!

A colleague and I had dinner at Maito on a weekday night in October. As other reviewers have remarked, it is a good idea to have reservations. Also, since the restaurant is a bit out of the way and inconspicuous, it’s advisable to be able to give clear directions to your taxi driver, such as those on the restaurant’s Web... More

Nice lunch. The location and décoration is nice. The restaurant is in sort of old house. Had some ham and cheese balls as a starter and argentines meat. The idea of serving typical panameen cuisine with a gourmet style is good but I prefer something more authentic.

I've been few times in Maito and in general I had a good opinion since the food and the service is very good however last night I was surprised by the special dish I had which was the "cochinillo". I would never expect such simple and not truly tasty dish will cost 42 dollars. I was not explained the dish... More

Maito combines the local ingredients with fresh ideas. They are far from the basic and rather dull Panamanian food. Some of the ingredients are even in the herbs garden in the yard. Sophisticated plates. Very good!
