The drive to get to the restaurant is beautiful. The fish choices were really very enjoyable. Great setting and pleasant wait staff
After finishing our canal tour we invited our driver to have lunch with us and asked him to select the restaurant. Our only requirement was that the restaurant have great seafood and great seafood it was. We started with an appetizer of calamari which was light and tender. I had the whole fish pan fried with coconut rice and garlic... More
Shrimp ceviche was excellent and a lot if shrimp for the money. It was only $6 or $6.50. Beer was cold and flan was delicious. Service was excellent even though they were fairly busy with Christmas office parties in back room. If it is raining don't sit under the ranch is in patio area.
We liked this place so much that we went back. We ate here at the beginning of our trip and again on our last night before leaving Panama. It is a lovely setting along the Amador Causeway. I liked the outside Palapa seating, very pleasant. Food was very good. We had both seafood and non-seafood items but our favorite was... More
This was a quaint little restaurant , I liked the style of it, which was, a hut. The food was OKAY nothing special and the amount of food they give you isn't much. This is a outdoor restaurant so if you're looking for somewhere to cool off... this isn't the place.
This is a very nice, open air restaurant on Amador Causeway serving Panamanian food. There is a great view of the city from the restaurant. The restaurant is near the Punta Culebra Nature Center. The service was good and the prices reasonable. The camerones al crillo, chicken with tomato sauce, and patacones were all very good. We were there on... More
The amadour causeway is pretty touristy so this is probably the most authentic spot, though nothing terribly exciting. The setting & view is lovely. The food is fine, kinda average. The ceviche I had was tiny - who knows maybe I didn't order great and my husband was happy enough with his chicken. If you're stuck having lunch on the... More
We stopped in at Mi Ranchito after working up an appetite exploring the Causeway. We asked the waiter for his recommendation and he highly recommended the house special which was a mix of seafood - fish, clams, mussels, shrimps, and 2 prawns with rice. Almost like a paella but served in a big mound on an oval plate. He said... More
The Resturant is located where the former Canal Zone Amador Beach was sited. Food was good, service was good, great location, but the best was the Cevichi. Excellent Cevichi while rest of our food was ok.
