Authentic Lebanese on the Harbour

My colleagues and I stopped in at Lebanon between meetings during a recent trip to Panama. My diet at home is vegetarian so I was somewhat ambivalent. The menu selection was outstanding as was the food and drink.

Great food, outdoor atmosphere across the street from the hotel, non-alcoholic beer available. The restaurant had a faux marble interior but despite the kitsch, was quite pretty. The location was such that it caught gentle winds to help keep us cool. Some of the best babaganoush and hummus ever!

The service is friendly and responsive. The food in general is good, although Panamenian or Italian style food is not their strength. Ask for a waterpipe and sit on the terrace enjoying the ambient, which is excellent.

Came upon Beirut while attending a conference at the Marriott across the street. Was pleasantly surprised, food was very good, atmosphere was pleasant, service was attentive without being overdone. You will have to ask for bill when ready, but nice change from places that bring bill before finished dinning. Inside/outside dinning, ate meals on the street side patio, some traffic... More

I really enjoy this place, and I visit it when in town. Quality wise, fantastic. Good portions, great flavors and outstanding variety. However, service could be better. Waiters and the owner walk past your table over 40 times (yes, I did count) before YOU have to stop them to order anything. A very good option.

We had a group gathering at this restaurant and didn't know what to expect. We had very little experience with Lebanese food. They brought out soda bread and a great deal of different spreads. We just followed the lead of the people that knew how to eat Lebanese food. We enjoyed the novelty of the food. If this type of... More

Recently stopped at Beirut for Dinner while on a Business trip to Panama City. Beirut Restaurant is just across the Marriott Panama Hotel. It is a large restaurant and it has indoor and outdoor seating. We tried the sampler for 3 which was more than enough to feed three hungry men. It was a great choice since we were able... More
