Beirut is located in a busy area, near the Marriott Hotel. This restaurant was my first experience with Lebanese cuisine, and it quickly became a favorite place to eat while I was living in Panama. The restaurant grew and expanded during the years I lived in Panama, and the decor is fun and with Middle Eastern Flair. On weekend nights... More

I ordered Shish Kabob and lamb, assuming they'd be common house favorites. The beef in the kabob was over-cooked to such a degree, I debated eating one of my Allen Edmonds shoes. The lamb was also very well-done, but edible with a strong jaw. As for the service, it was fairly attentive but strange. At one point, a passing bus... More

This was a nice place, decent food but the atmosphere was the best thing about the place. Tables laid out on a large outdoor patio as well as inside. We sat outside because there was a large private party inside. There's hookah available if you smoke as well as a full bar. The food was just ok and the service... More

Everything is always good at Beirut. From the shisha to the food. There is a great ambiance for people watching on that corner and just a fantastic outdoor patio. You cannot go wrong here if you are looking for good Lebanese cuisine. Highly recommend

Having arrived in Panama City, we were really looking forward to middle eastern food, a commodity in short supply in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We first went to Habibi's, as it was relatively close, but were disappointed with their offering. Some weeks later, we decided we still needed a middle eastern "fix", so we decided to check out Beirut in the... More

Service has always been terrible, but the food used to be good. Unfortunately, the food quality is moving towards the service standards and the only thing going up is the prices. $17 for a tiny side dish sized salad and a coke. WiFi never works lots of staff wandering around aimlessly and in slow motion. They don't know what they... More

Regular visitor when in Panama. Very good and authentic Lebanese food. Thu-Sat they have live music and belly dancers, without interfering the food experience. Friendly staff. Great!

We are visiting Panama City, Panama for the first time. A tour guide recommended "Beirut" for dinner. We had never had Lebanese food, so we check it out. We were immediately greeted in english - instantly felt welcome - and agreed to dinner. Our host, Alex Aldirani, recommended a meal with lots small dishes of hummas and other items and... More

Beirut Restaurant was great! We were there for three hours. Started with wine and appetizers, then had dinner. There was live music and bellydancing throughout. The dancers and musicians were great (and I know whereof I speak).
