Great service, nice experience

I have a group of 24. I made a previous reservation, but when we arrive, they didn't know, but they manage very well the situation and give us a salon on the second floor. Yes, give us privacy, but we we're looking the contact with people. Food good, not extraordinary but good, and the prices... read more

Found myself here after eating at a few other places in the area. This is an "institution" in Panama, mostly locals, makes it a good spot for people watching, especially if you sit outside. Prices are good for the area and food is good, not spectacular as well. Have a Bastido and something simple off their huge menu.... Chill out... More

We ate at this place so many times we wore out the front door! Prices were reasonable and food was always good. The locals frequent this place by the droves and I think that says volumes about the overall quality of the place. Be sure and try one of the "pots" the one with fish is great. If your at... More

This is clearly not a touristic place, and since I was a tourist, I really enjoyed dining there on the bar, seeing how the chef prepares the dishes. The food is average but satisfying. The prices are better than the place around.

I had lunch here while waiting for my hotel check-in. The interior is nice and clean but is entirely ordinary. I ordered a steak criollo, which was a mediocre steak covered with a runny tomato sauce with a few vegetables in it. The cost was about $11. Service was acceptable but largely indifferent. It wasn't bad or anything. It just... More

I love this place but my wife is not so keen and I fail to understand why. Its a locals place - a meeting place. I visit a lot. If you want a "pit stop" type meal this is the place to go. Good, wholesome, inexpensive, edible food in a diner type setting. We take Business guests for quick, lunches... More

If you need a simple meal at a good price, check this place out. Atmosphere sucks and food is not fashionable - but if you just want a basic meal at a good price (stretching your budget) this is a good choice. Victor waited on us one night and his service was excellent.

We were staying at the Marriott Panama, this restaurant is just around the corner and down 60 feet. It is a 24 hour diner, that offers full breakfasts for under $5.00. Try the large fresh fruit plate, it should be for two. Good eats for really cheap.

very competent and attentive staff. Straight ahead no nonsense food. I forgot some papers at my table and the cashier had them when I came back the next day. Oh - sitting at the counter is fun too.
