I had a very decent meal in that restaurant, got some native food and I simply loved it! You should check it out if you are passing by Managua.

Or maybe it's Andalusia? Whatever ... the food was excellent and the large sampler plates for distributing to smaller tapas plates were perfectly executed. The service was a little dicey but not bad. In general, this is apparently one of Matagalpa's best restaurants. The fish was perfectly prepared and obviously quite fresh, the grilled vegetables, a Nica rarity, were excellent.... More

Managua isnt exactly setting the eating scene on fire, most places come up short but I think La Taska de Kiko is perhaps the best dining experience Ive had in Managua. The place isnt cheap but its prices arent ridiculous either. I went there with my wife, both enjoyed the food, the bread and drinks. The only cons I can... More

Been there couple of times and every time it gets worst. The food quality is horrible for the price and the waiter (they only have one for the entire restaurant) is too busy watching tv or whatever...you have to search for him. Last time I ordered some type of steak and it was salty and no taste, and raw to... More

Maybe I have no clue as to how Spanish food is prepared, but anything basically you order is so oily it can get you sick. Been there twice but service is bad, only one waiter for many tables and owners do not make you seem welcomed. Not coming back again. A lot of loud speaking Spanish citizens make you feel... More

Indulge yourself in Taska Kiko and let chef Garibaldi offer you a seafood soup, grilled calamari, octopus with paprika, "robalo rebosado", fresh grilled lobster tails and many other dishes from Spanish cuisine in a relaxed setting visited by both locals and international community. Kiko, Jocelyn and all the staff are all there to feel welcome.

previously a hater of all things seafood, i think taska kiko converted me. their paella keeps me coming back, their gambas al ajillo are perfectly partnered with mini ciabatta loaves to mop up the garlic sauce (: their sangria is also incredible. the mariscada...there are no words. lobster, prawns, fish, and octopus? never would i have thought that i would... I like their fish and torta espanola but I do not like the fact that they have paella but they wont sell you rice!! I always order their baked fish but it is always a mission to get them to sell me a side of rice...I know this is not part of their menu but what about making the customer... More

We ordered paella and it was delicious. The abundance of seafood was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was pleasant, (although there is some road noise), with the option of outdoor dining or air conditioning. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen also looked very clean. Next time we will try the seafood platter - it looked wonderful.

The Mariscada here is expectacular. One of the best seafood plates I have had at a reasonable price. Garlic calamres are escellent as well. Both of these are a must!!
