Yummy sushi

Great, fresh sushi. Little pricey, but worth it if you need a sushi fix in San Salvador. The generous sashimi cuts and especially their salmon tends to be better than its competitors. Bonus: their rolls are well packed with tasty rice (not like regular rice with vinegar). Enjoy!

The vegetable tempura only included three veggies: carrot, Japanese eggplant and zucchini. The batter was light and crispy, but for the price the selection and size were small. I also tried the fried bananas with cheese--which I have never seen on a Japanese menu before. It was OK. They do not have rice or soy paper for the rolls and... More

This restaurant is one of the few Japanese in the city. They have an extensive menu with sashimi, sushi, soups and very nice dishes. Service is excellent and the freshly prepared rolls are just great. Well prepared with fresh ingredients.

Personally, I am not a fan of asian cousine, still I see myself as a person with a good taste for food. Tanoshi, is an expensive Japanese restaurant, that takes 2 hours per roll (yes, its an exageration). Food is not a big deal, service is not bad, but not good either. So its a good restaraunt for you to... More

In the afternoon they have half price specials on most of the sushi rolls, and the quality of the food is pretty good.
