Our meal (five friends) was a taste of Tokyo! Starting with a entree-sized vegetable tempura (which was wonderful) we had miso soup, some seaweed salad, some tossed green salad with sesame dressing. Then our sashimi botanico (sashimi garden) arrived. It was a big order of sashimi, beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Did I mention the fresh wasabi??? And gari??... More

Yes.. Tokio in San Salvador City.... that's how I describe this place, not for the environment which is good... it's for the food!. The best sushi(a generous size of their rolls) in town for my criteria, the prices are ok what they serve, the service is nice. The tempura and the soups are awesome. Perfect if you are in town... Food was amazing. I had sushi and it was just awesome. Service was not as good, though, but very friendly and warm.

This is a very good traditional Japanese restaurant. It is in a house in the middle of a residential area but don't be misguided by this. It is actually quite good. Not you trendy sushi place but one of those few remaining true Japanese experiences. A bit pricey but probably getting your money's worth.

While a little pricier than competitors, this is the tastiest sushi in town. The fish is very fresh, generous cuts of fish, and consistently good. Enjoy!

The taste of japanese food is authentic (not "japanese fast food") and we can trust to eat any items in the menu without getting sick. The portions are generous so what we like to do with my husband is to order different dishes and share. Sometimes the service is a little slow but it depends on how full it is.... More

The sushi was delicious, generous portions, service was a little slow and the people should smile a little bit more. The place is cozy and elegant.

The service here is amazing. The portions are generous and affordable. I have been here 10+ times and have never been sick. My family of four can eat for for under $60 and we are full and happy. We will miss this place when we leave.

The sashimi and sushi are fresh and authentic - the fish is fresh. My favourite - tekamaki is as good as in Japan. It's not cheap but always a worth while treat.
