A great spot to eat small pizzas, light fare, snacks, and fruity drinks. The Avenida Los Sisimiles' Clavo y Canela is a very nice place, with live music on Friday evenings. Sometimes you can spot a flamenco singer, at other times a sax player offering jazz music. The place is clean, service is OK, and speed is also fine. You... More

I had the bread bowl soup - its called a sandwich for some reason - and it was fantastic! Super delicious and savory. The additional note of the cilantro creamy stuff was the perfect compliment. And then there was dessert - out of this world good! TRY EVERYTHING!

Food was excellent. Very good service and lovely place. The music was not really good though, it has a bad quality sound.

I like the fish dishes. Also, for a family type rest is nice they have white wine. Alone or with someone you can enjoy nice service and good environment. The restaurant that is on C. Sisimiles has a little parking.

Clavo y Canela is a great spot to grab a quick bite. They can get you in and out quickly and offer a nice variety of specials for a little over $5.00, including a drink and soup. They offer a postre of the day w/ coffee for an additional $1.00 that can't be beat. There are a few other good... More

I've eaten a few times and Clavo and Canela, but unfortunately the only thing on the menu that I can enjoy are the sandwiches. They are excellent, but everything else is ruined by being drowned in sauce, cream, or cheese. The sauces are tasty, but in my opinion there can be too much of a good thing. If you go,... More

This restaurant has the quality of big restaurant, except for the prices. I love their "Mar y Tierra, Parrillada" (streak and sea food) The platter has cheese, rice and cooked vegetables. Their portions are generous , the food is very tasty and friendly staff. They also have excellent coffee and superb desserts. I kept on coming back for 3 days.

Walked here from the InterContinental Real. It was a nice homey place. Decorations were cheesey, and the food was fair. Absolutely amazing pinapple smoothie. Pasta with chicken and basil was unrecognizable apart from the cream that it was drowning in.

A friend and I are staying at a near-by hotel and walked to this restaurant for dessert tonight. There was a short wait, because it's Valentine's Day. The live music (singer) was good but very loud and not really conducive to visiting. We decided to try some appetizers and ordered the fried shrimp ($7.50) and the sampler of house specialties...
