We were worried when we read the previous reviews about the quality of the food, but we gave it a try. The external look of the restaurant is not encouraging. It looks like a simple touristic sushi bar. But we liked the interior, which is very simple and modest. The service was excellent. It was special lobster weekend but we... More

My wife and i had lunch her thinking Nobu in Kiev would be on par with , Nobu in Manhattan and Malibu California! Although satisfied with our meal make no mistake this restaurant is no where near the US restaurants. You can experience infinitely better in the food court in the Globe mall on Independent Square!

Our waiter was inattentive and rude, while talking to us (we were asking about a dish from the menu) she suddenly turned away and left to escort people who just arrived to their table. Warm sushi with lobster were too hard and overcooked, unfiltered sake that used to be the best in the city is no longer good (not as... More

Lower then my expectations. The food is the best you can get in Ukraine but not the level in Europe. Have sushi and sashimi to be on the safe side. Any temputa is good. Duck is not the Nobu standart.

Some excellent Sushi & Japanese dishes ..... the Rolls are still better in Shooters. Service is good, staff are nice .... I like this place. BUT, it's a bit pricey, which is the reason I only eat there occassionally.

Kiev is teeming with restaurants with sushi on the menu. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very cosy and it seemed well visited by business people. Having tried sushi in different cities in the world, it is not the best and the price is higher compared to Brussels or Paris for example, but the service is good and the warm... More

sushi is good - but not great. the problem is consistency. the service is pretty good. there is often a good crowd, so if you are looking to get a feeling for the trendy upper end sushi scene in kiev, its a good choice. the quality of the food and service is one of consistency. you can have a great... By the way, I'm not japanese but italian.. but I saw clients there really from Japan, and it means something.. Place is small, cosy, typical, tables and chairs in light wood and red tablecloths. Food is tasty, they have something more than the usual basic sushi with tuna, salmon and catfish.. real crab from Kamtchtka, scallop and other kind of... More
