Patience does indeed pay at this Ukranian osteria. The food is all home made, and what our group of four had was delicious, most particularly the salmon ravioli. Nice wine list, but the wine we ordered was stored on a shelf high on the wall, so I had the young man select a bottle from the wine cooler located in... More

Simple unpretentious resturant that serves good tasty Italian food from a wide menu choice and good value. We've eaten here three times since discovery a week ago and it is now one of our favorites in Kiev - Champagne being the other.

This is a small place - about 8 tables, nice Italian food, friendly staff. Homey feeling. Good for a snack if you are passing by

I've been for a dinner not so long time ago, the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice a warm, the service is fine even if after a while the waiter stopped look to our table. The menu is interesting but there are not so many choices for main courses and if you want side dish or sauce are like extra.

The food has always been pretty good since this place opened last year and they are finally getting their service act down so it is almost turning into a pleasant experience. Sea bass, pumpkin risotto, Greek salad, and salmon ravioli were all excellent and the various coffees after lunch were very well done. English is still a challenge but the... More

This is a tiny little restaurant that is popular with locals, which gives it a cosy warm atmosphere. The highlight is the meat disg served to cook yourself on a hot rock, which is a fun way to eat. The food is very chealy priced although all veg and sauces etc are extra. There was a reasonable wine list and... More

We went to this restaurant thanks to Tripadvisor. Close by the hotel. This is a small restaurant but ver nice. We felt welcome. The waitress didn't speak very well English but we could understand each other. Me and my colleague took the steak on a hot plate with grilled vegetables and a nice bottle of Italian red wine. The steak... More

The menu is small and more suited to lunch than for dinner. The alcohol is too expensive. The restauirant itself is very small. We ordered in advance to have a table but there weren´t many people in it. You can´t say it wasn´t good but to compare with other restaurants in Kiev which we visited it was quite ordinary. Our... This was already my fifth time to La Cantina, and that restaurant is just fabulous and has very good price policy. Food is great and not too expensive, but bit too expensive for locals. Wine selection is great and service is fantastic. Many places in Kiev are very loud, but this is like a calm paradise with excellent atmosphere. I... More

I went in for lunch on Saturday. The service was fast and friendly, the food was lovely and I was happy with the price - 99UAH for spaghetti carbonara and a glass of coke
