Old stomping ground - declined in standards.

This was my "local" when I lived and worked in Kiev. I called in most evenings on my way home from work (and every weekend for televised football). I note that a photo of me still adorns the upstairs collage (8 years after I left). The "pub" was originally run by experienced British/Irish... read more

The best place in Kyiv to drink Guinness and watch EPL. All staff is English speaking, usually not so croud, exept Saint Patrick`s Day and important matches. A lot of English visitors. Modarate prices.

Definitely the worst experience we had in Kiev. The waitress immediately gave us an attitude and continued to ignore us for whatever reason. The beer tasted like watered pee (maybe it was), and the so called steak tasted like shoes (we ordered medium rare). Half way into the match, not yet finished with the beer, we were asked to leave... What I definitely like about this pub is the food, the portions are big and it's tasty. They also serve really good apple pie which I'm a huge fan of. The service is slow sometimes, but friendly. The pub itself has a nice feel to it, but the music selection can get weird and confusing sometimes for a pub. Overall... More

We wanted to have traditional Irish holiday in the most Irish place in Kyiv, as we thought. Expensive, watered beer and poor show part.

Have come here twice since being in Kiev. First time they had metal playing quite loud at about 7pm made for a rather uncomfortable evening and really destroyed the ambiance. Came back two weeks later and the music was fine. O'Brien's has a good range of beers and spirits its themed as an Irish pub as you would expect. Food... More

Food is incredible tasty, big portions, prices are a bit higher than usual in other pubs. Nice located and cool music. I like it

I've been to O'Briens many times and find that the service and food quality has deteriorated. Staff are friendly but not focused enough on customer service. Bar men can be quite inattentive. The food used to be consistently good but there really has been a big drop in quality. Overall it's very disappointing. Management need to get their act together.

I have spent many days and evenings in this pub during last 6-7 years. Food is average but beer are good. I am there to watch English Premier League football. They have pub food and they arent a gourmet restaurant. They offer live music and a good atmosphere.
