what a load of tosh

After reading reviews on TA we booked a table for 4. For starters we received foccacia that was actually just plain bread stick. Pire - mash potato was of instant variety and dessert stale. Avoid this place if you are a true foodie.

It is rare that whenever you visit the restaurant, it is getting better every time. I was there several days ago again with friends and the food iwas really exceptional. in their renewed menu I found fresh tuna, very lightly grilled on the outside, raw on the inside and all covered with sesame seeds, and together with wasabi, it was... We had a lovely meal in this high fashion yet comfortable cafe. It is small, with a combination of cute tables and soft sofas. The decor is all white, which makes it feel like a well cared for place. The service was ok, the food very good, and the location excellent. It's on one of the toniest streets in Old... More

I have eaten here on several occasions for both business and pleasure. Nice menu with some very tasty items. They do good fish and have an excellent range of vegetable dishes that provide tasty meat free meals. The owner is a fashion designer which is reflected in the stylish decor. Wines are reasonably priced - try some Serbian wine which... More

Tucked in a small street next to Knez Mihailova, Pire is one if Belgrade's best kept secret. The daily changing menu is both traditional and sophisticated, order the tomato basil soup if available on the menu.,, a delicacy!

I made a reservation couple of days earlier and since I have never before been at "Pire", I asked them for the recommendation for seating, since I wanted just a bit more private table. I mentioned my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The table we got was perfect, the service was excellent throughout the evening and the... More

We went here with a group of friends and all enjoyed a really great set menu with wine pairings. Definitely very fun and very tasty. We also really enjoyed the decor, modern and very interesting.

Pire is conceived around pire variety (mashed potatoes). I had one with almonds which was pretty good, nice choice of salads, excellent soups and good sea food. But the service in the restaurant is just the sweetest! Place is well designed and pleasant, but most importantly it's dog friendly :). The sea food I had was not that good and... More

Very nice stylish restaurant, excellent food. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is hidden in the center so its recommended to look at location before you go. We enjoyed our evening a lot. I would recommend this place to other Beograd visitors.
