Was in the Amzei location 3x during my recent trip to Biucharest. Il Calcio is a chain of 11 italian restaurants owned by a former romanian football player having played for Manchester United. Food was mixed experience, some very good (spaghetti and pizza), some appalling (chicken liver). Despite an abundance of staff, sometimes still lack of service. Separation of smoking... More

Location is very good, in the hearth of Bucharest. You can enjoy your dining in the sunshine at their nice outdoor terrace. That the best at this restaurant. It can be a little bit more expencive than the others but still very cheap. Beer 2,5€, ravioli, 9€, pizza 7€.

Despite the good location, this restaurant fails to meet a decent level of quality. We were sitted in the non-smoking area but we felt like we were in the middle of the smokers as the two areas are practically separated. The service was poor, waiters were not paying attention to customer's need making mistakes when bringing the order. Another thing... More

We always come here when we want a fully sufficient meal that is surely to satisfy our appetite and leave us content. Nice big portions, great variety of Italian food, good service, nice atmosphere. We usually have the salmon, or italian salad if not too hungry, but we especially enjoy the filletto al peppe verde which is delicious! Our favorite... More

One of the classics! Food is always up to par at Il Cacio. Some locations are better than others yet all offer a good choice for any type of meal.
