Sunday afternoon tea

The place overwhelms with charm and character from inside and out. It's bang in the middle of old town with Vlad Tepes' (Dracula to most) castle ruins close by. There are some good places to eat and drink inside. However it is seriously let down by the existence of a Starbucks on the first floor... read more

The location is nice and better than most of the other tourist traps in the old town. Food was not good (mediocre at best) service was not good. Prices are relatively high. The waiter reminded us to leave a tip. Nothing to write home about.

Let me start with the positives. This restaurant has a really cool atmosphere with an open courtyard and good food. The Strong Ale also was particularly delicious. However, this restaurant gave us the worst service we have ever received (not an exaggeration, I've only said this once on TripAdvisor). The poor service started at reception with a rather sluggish and... More

Very good food, large portions, fantastic location. We had a table on the balcony enjoying weather and meals. Great touristic and gastronomy experience

The location has great historical value and is well preserved, beautiful interior and also beautiful terrace; but the staff is rude and gives you the impression they don't like serving you- not one bit! The traditional dishes in the menu are not traditional at all, since they use supermarket ingredients! The menu is too expensive if you know the quality... More

The building which this restaurant is situated in has some historical significance and has a great atmosphere. There are two menus, one for Romanian food and one with Lebanese. I ordered from the Romanian one and had chicken with polenta and baked potatoes. The meal was quite plain and average, but I hadn't actually noticed the Lebanese menu until after... More

Had dinner here and it was ok. We ordered dinner and it when it came out it was not what we expected. If you don't like restaurants that allow smokers then this isn't for you. Service was good but could have been better.

I was so lucky to attend a traditional Romanian feast at this establishment, celebrating Vanessa the Cow (Vanessa Vaca). I enjoyed everything, the food, drink and entertainment, as well as the general atmosphere in this historic location. Truly something everyone should experience! Johan

The location of the restaurant is very good. It looks very nice and the live music is very good. But besides all that the food was realy bad. I had lamb on the grill and it was unchewable, partualy too salty and partially not salty at all. I left over half of my dish.

Great location. Lovely decor and space. Dinner with live music. Good value for money. Food was just delicious! Went back twice! Really worth a try.
