I went to this café a few years ago and I was really impressed at the time. They had the most amazing Eton Mess I have ever had and I was hoping to get another one this time. However, they were just changing the menu and hey just stopped making the dessert, so I decided to have a BLT and... More

In the mornings, for a breakfast or a cup of coffee/tea, it's a very nice place, but in the afternoon or evening,(specifically during week-ends), it become way to crowded. You'll have to talk quite loud to hear each-other. The tables are extremely close one of each other, so you'll hear very well your neighbors. During the busy evenings the way... More

We stopped for a late morning coffee and found the cafe warm and welcoming on one of the first cold days of the winter. Good WiFi soon led to us staying for lunch. A good venue for future business meetings.

I stayed at the adjacent Rembrandt Hotel in November and missed breakfast on one of the mornings. So I popped in here and wasn't disappointed. I had the simple three egg omelette with a black coffee (Americano). This is a busy café and well used by both locals and tourists. Prices were very reasonable and it was pleasant way to... More

Excellent for snacks. The sweet portions are large - the waitress even warned us about the size of the apple tarts. Good food, good service and good prices.

Lovely place, but it lacks a bit of soul (or maybe it wasn't the right time, on a Tuesday night). Although on their website they say they don't take reservations, when we wanted to sit at a table for 6, the waiter told us it was booked and directed us to a square table for 4, although we were 5.... My husband and I had a late dinner at this restaurant next to our hotel in Bucharest. We sat outside and enjoyed a really delicious meal including yummy icecream for dessert. The service was excellent – in particular we commend Alex who was very helpful and fun.

The building, the large and tall rooms, the circular interior stairs are wonderful. The ground floor seems crowded and smokey, but the first floor for non-smokers is just perfect. The service is great and they have a lovely mulled wine and cheesecake, perfectly matching the incoming winter. It's one of my favourite places for good talks over a coffee.
