Good place to people watch

Staff very friendly, good place for a meal or just a drink in an excellent location, situated next door to The Rembrandt Hotel. Good value for money.

This restaurant has great food, inexpensive and a fun atmosphere with outdoor seating. And the beer is cold.

I liked very much the coffee. Bohemian atmosphere with old furniture, wooden floor. Services are good.

The food is not great, the gulas that I tried was both cold and almost too spicy to be able to eat it. The service was very good, the nachos are good, and the place is nice looking.

I like the both the inside and outside ( terrace and 2 levels inside), a bit pricy, staff could pay better attention, but they do have some delicious food/sweets/drinks. Every once in a while I go there with my friend, never dissapoints.

It can be tricky to be vegetarian in the historic old town of Bucharest. Most restaurants do not advertize veggie options, so you have to look at the menus. Van Gogh puts their menu on a sandwich board, and does indeed offer a few tasty vegetarian options. I liked the veggie burger, in particular. Van Gogh is in a pleasant... More

Based on the trip advisor reviews we stopped by and had a late lunch at the Van Gogh café. It was on a weekend, and they still served breakfast in the early afternoon and that suited us perfectly. We had omelettes and they were very good. Great service. Nice to sit outside, and people watch while you eat. Would definitely... More

Nice laid back little cafe/restaurant. Cold beer, delicious simple food, good service and a nice clean and interesting little spot. Choice of inside or alfresco dining in the Old City part of Bucharest.

On recommendation from our hotel we stopped here for light lunch. Atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. Very clean and not over crowded. Staff are very professional, attentive and friendly. The food was wonderful very fresh and drinks served very cold. Priced very reasonable... 2 lunches and 4 drinks about $34AUD. Well worth stopping in even just for an icy... More
