This is a mans restaurant!

Try the pork shoulder with sauerkraut washed down with several Hofbräuhaus Weiss beers I doubt you'll have room for dessert! Service is always friendly and the atmosphere typically Bavarian.

We go there quite regularly and every time we go we are impressed with the quality of dishes! No matter what you choose, it is a good choice!:) The service is excellent, the prices are not big taking into account the area where the restaurant is located, Dorobanti and the atmosphere is 100% German! So,if you like German food, then... More

Without a doubt, this is one of Bucharest's best kept secrets, a favourite haunt of German, Austrian, British and American ex pats to name but a few of many satisfied customers. Draught and botttled German beers are on offer, as well as wonderful red and white wines from the prestigious Lacerta winery and a wide variety of top quality schnapps.... More

Great garden amidst a surreal silence for Bucharest. The coziness is unique. Food is excellent we had snitzel and flamkuchen which were great. Tap beer was cold and refreshing. Service friendly and professional. Elena the owner is a great patron! I recommend it. And will come back. CIAO

Excellent German beer, good German food, gnadige German boss and bossche. The outside garden area is delightful, like a fairy dell!. The indoor bar/resto has a good atmosphere but is strictly for smokers!

We had a super evening in the Deutsche Kneipe. Wonderful welcome, really friendly owner. It's a little tricky to find but not that far from the centre by taxi. The Schnitzel was delicous and as you would expect the portions were hearty, The range of beers was excellent. THe only downside is the cigarette smoke if you are a non... More

After a nice visit in Berlin back in 2010 when i had time enough to discover the local athmosphere of restaurants I've missed 'till this December the taste of real zaurkrauter - i hope i spell it right :) -, the taste and smell of white sausages and the feel after a normal portion of schnitzel. Which, by the way,... More

As many of the restaurants I like, this one is not located on a busy street but on a quiet small one but it is however quite central. The restaurant is family owned and there are only a few tables which makes it an intimate and cozy place to be. It is not cheap but it is worthed. The food... More

A German Romanian sells so called German food for relatively high prices, expensive compared with the restaurants of that style of kitchen and furniture in Bucharest. We ordered house wine without looking the menu - as usual in Romania, and we got expensive wine which he afterwards called his house wine. Within six days Bucharest, it was the only bazar-trick...
