We we stood in the doorway for 10 minutes while waiters walked past us without even a glance. When we finally sat down, two tables that arrived after us had their orders taken first. They forgot our order and 20 minutes later realized it. Eventually we received our pizzas which were good. Don't eat here if you're hungry or unwilling... More

Have been there several times. 1st time was apsolutely amazing! Service and food, another occasion, service great but pizza not so much.. Last time pizza was great but service so slow and not impressing! To be honest, it's not a bad place. You can find pizza that is better than in the most places in Zagreb, but also pricey. Service?... Like I said it is a lovely place with an average pizza in the city center. In this pizzeria is all average. From food, services, except the places that is different from what you offer the rest of the city center.Prices are decent.Do not expect too much and everything will be ok.

When we travel we always like to 'recommend' or "warn" other travellers of our experience. The food was terrific, the staff was super friendly, it was a pretty spot and the wine was amazing, It was pizza and salad before our flight out and it was perfect. A don't miss spot.

Karijola is a 10 for atmosphere. It's location is just really cool - tucked away on the third level of a courtyard. The pizza itself is delicious. Thin, crispy crust with great fresh ingredients. Service is a bit slow, but that gives you time to enjoy your wine and relax. The price tag is a little steep for pizza, but... More

very pleasing atmosphere, not really a fan of thin and crispy pizza but very satisfied. excellent olive oil free of charge, garlic too. Focaccia only €2 but more than a nice meal, especially with more garlic and olive oil and cherry tomatoes. You should definitely try Plavac Radica red wine - one of the best wines ever tasted!

We had a hard time finding it, but were happy we persevered. The pizza was terrific and service was quick. Beer and wine were reasonably priced and service was helpful and efficient.

If coming to Zagreb, there are a lot of great places to eat pizza. Karijola is one of the most famous, but also one of the most overrated places. Their prices are about 50% more expensive than the average pizza in Zagreb, while the pizza itself is just about average. I'm not a fan of their crispy and tasteless crust... More

Crossed the road from Laguna Hotel, very ordinary but full - always a sign that the food is good. We offered a table indoors after a short wait were seated. Asked other patrons for recomendations, all were happy to advise.
