To find this little place either ride up funicular or climb steps up - it's just a short way from the top. Really enjoyed meal here. Short Menu on chalk board but still plenty of choice. Grilled cheese with truffle flavoured paste was exceptionally tasty and all other food great. Wouldn't rush to have plum dumplings again but chocolate mousse... More

We got lucky with this one. Great views, and the waiter actually was able to seat us even though there was a wedding going on. We realized this night Croatian beer is delicious, when we ordered 2 of them. I had the shrimp risotto, and the bf had the salmon. 2nd best risotto of the trip, and he says the... More

After reading some good reviews we went here looking forward to the evening meal. We left a little disappointed. The starters of sardines were fairly small as was the strukla (cheese in pastry). The starters set us back about 70 kn on top of the cover charge of 30 kn. Had pork medallions & chicken salad as mains and all... More

Restaurant is located just beside the funiculaire on the upper city. It has good food with limited menu, however what is Offered is good and at reasonable price. It is worth visiting.

We had an amazing evening in this restaurant! It was well organized, the owner was always available and ready to meet with us to plan and organize all the details, and the staff on the day was exceptional, they have responded to our every wish. We are so glad we chose "Pod gričkim topom" to make the scenery and unforgettable... More

Excellent three course meal of local food, plus wine at about £30/person. Good local in the old town near the top of the funicular railway and very friendly staff - well worth a visit.

Stumbled across this restaurant by accident whilst killing time before having to go to the airport and thank god we did! The service was top notch, considering it was a lunch time and we were the only people in the restaurant. The food was phenomenal, especially the cheese on toast with truffle oil, and we were recommended some fantastic wine.... More

With great expectations, I came to this distinguished restaurant that I was totally disappointed. Although I want to emphasize that well-done steak I got completely covered in blood. The waiter returned the steak to further bake but again came bloody.

I had a dinner with the business partners in Zagreb. We shared appetizer of the seafood such as octopus, tuna and shrimps, and they were very tasty. As a main course, I had a grilled sea bream with spinach with a bit of garlic flavors, which was also delicious. We had several bottles of Croatian white wines which our business... More
