Great bosnian traditional food

This place is great for a lot of things- if you're hungry, if you just love meat, if you're Bosnian or like Bosnian food, if you want to take a group of people somewhere or celebrate something. The staff was ok, nothing special. The food is yummy and the prices are average. I personally love the... read more

While visiting Zagreb, our hotel concierge suggested the Sofra restaurant for some traditional Bosnian food. We enjoyed our meal immensely and the atmosphere was wonderful with a group of men serenading the diners from table to table. The wine was delicious and the sudzuk (spicy sausage) was excellent as were the burek (meat stuffed bread) and tursilja ( pickled veggies).... More

The meals are nice and large, we always have them packed for take out. The music was not loud, we could hear it, but we were able to talk normally. Only minus is that outside was really hot and inside, on closed porch, was almost unbearable. The air conditioning was working and inside, in the building was nice, cold, but... More

This restaurant offers bosniaks food (of muslims in Bosnia and Hercegovina). The portions are large, food fresh, service on time and kind staff. The prices could be a bit lower:)

Food is ok but portions are small. I ate klepe and I went from the restaurant hungry. Music(bosnian music)was too loud and we could not talk to each other. Service was so so...Overall, I have nothing positive to say.

I've eaten here few times by now. It's a Bosnian restaurant and it's a bit different than others. The whole atmosphere is special and nice to experience. I don't really like when musicians start to play their songs because it's too loud and I usually want to eat in peace, but still, I would recommend it. The food is great.... More
