Traditional comfort food..

Our group was met with courtesy and service was attentive. Very pleasant ambience. This is not nouvelle cuisine and proud of it. It is an opportunityto try traditional Croatian coking. An ethno-style restaurant in the cetre of the old town of Zagreb where one can try local specialities like "struklje". I tried this time "Zagrebacki odrezan" and I can warmly recommend that. It is a breaded and fried cordon bleu. Delicious!

Me and my friend found this place almost by chance. And I'm glad we did. I think our waiter might be the owner, but not sure. He was very profesional at giving advice on the food. We tried Dalmatian prosciutto for a starter, the portion was huge. Main course was I think farmers plate (mix of Croatian food), good thing... More

This was a great end to a fun day touring Zagreb with Blue Bike Zagreb. The service was prompt and the waiter was a lot of fun. We had a couple of stews which were recommended and a nice bottle of wine. The breads were fresh and our meals delicious. Don't miss this nice local restaurant during your visit to... More

Lovely traditional restaurant with good seasonal selections and nightly specials. Always ask what looks good in the kitchen because sometimes there are specials. Sarma (in season) is superb, as are duck and mlinci. nice selection of Croatian cheeses and salamis

Stopped here for lunch on recommendation of a local. We had lunch beef tripe (price: 6 €) and venison stew - basic brown souce (price: 9.3 €) and two smaller pieces of grilled pork loins (price: 12€). Final bill was higher than we expected. The main dishes were good, standard quality.Service was common and staff was just doing their job... More

A little away from the main area of tourist restaurants this is worth seeking out. Excellent local dishes , friendly staff and all for a reasonable price too. Worth trying the local beer too instead of the imports.

We had a large group and decided on the potato & mushroom soup which was fantastic. Waiter suggested platters of pork, beef & duck which was also excellent. A formal, yet unpretentious atmosphere with very professional waiters who accomodate their guests very well. A little pricier than other places in Zagreb, but a very nice meal that was worth the... Stopped here for lunch on recommendation of a local. Super friendly waitstaff and I was surprised how quickly the meal came to our table. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Had some wine and beer, with an salad and mains. Try the shepherd stew and grilled calamari. Not my favorite meal in Croatia, but it seems solid and would definitely return.... More
