The both of us had the "Zagrebacki Odrezak" with baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. The meat was ok, the potatoes and the grilled vegetables, were fine though. The service was OK, prices average. Could be much more pleasant, looking down on the market place, but needs a little extra effort on the food.

A great place to have a bitterly cold Croatian beer overlooking the square with a fruit market in progress. Very friendly service in English

Appreciated staff could speak english but not welcoming to me as english tourist, probably forgot I was there especially going to them to pay. However, the location was very good, price extremely reasonable and the Salmon steak was very nice especially with grilled vegetables! Would recommend it based on quality of food

This was a great stop to rest and watch the market. The food was OK but no where near as good as other places we had eaten Croatian food at. I would stop off here for lunch but would not make it a special go to place.

This would be a great place to sit out on the patio and have a drink and watch the activity in the Dolac Market. Unfortunately I decided to eat here--the roasted meat and vegetable dish was served at almost room temperature with a nasty school cafeteria type sauce on it.

I had a decent evening meal here. I thought it was a bit lacking in atmosphere - fairly quiet, on a Friday night. Judging from the other reviews, it may be more interesting at lunchtime. The food was fine, perhaps a bit bland. Certainly a reasonable choice if you're in the area.

This restaurant is just at the perfect place - the best green market in the city. But with all its great view and very nice service it never passed over the average. It's always a bit overcooked or too greasy or just blunt in presentation. I've been here several times and tried a lot of stuff. Last time my fried... More

Located by the Dolac red umbrella, open air farmers market, we enjoyed a lunch of shrimp risotto and beef stew. The portions were generous and tasty. Inside tables were available but we sat outside and the view overlooking the market made for great people watching.

We chose to eat here mainly because of the location, it was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside with a view of the dolac and spent about 3 hours relaxing and eating in the sun. We both had the sea bass which was fresh and perfectly cooked, crispy skin and melted in your mouth. The dishes are exactly... More

Restaurant Kerempuh was named after the main character in a nove written by Krleza. It has a great position overooking an open air market Dolac and plenty of daylight getting into the inner space of the restaurant. Serves local dishes, such as roast veal, Zagreb steak, stew, etc. and some delicious desserts. The staff are very young and very helpful.... More
