The other night I had a dinner over there and I don't eat mexican food often so I asked a waiter to suggest me something thats good - for starter I had nachos with bacon wich were quite good and for main dish I had grilled burrito with bbq souse wich was rich with flavor, nice spicy rice and beans... The first impression when you enter the restaurant is little bit mixed but the underground floor seems great! The price of meals is good when you compare it with quality. I can recommend it, however you will not be amused :)

I'm not a picky person when it comes to food, but Karaka was really disappointing. Tortillas had weird smell, they use some kind of cheap disgusting cheese, I did't get guacamole although it should be part of the dish and chilli "sauce" they use is just canned tomato concentrate mixed with chilli. None of the ingredients seemed fresh. They surely... More

Okay, first off, what is the relationship between pirates and Mexican food? I'm still wondering. And I realize you should not expect good Mexican food in a cheesy pirate-themed restaurant in Croatia. That is for sure. With that being said, I think this place is great for kids. The restaurant is decorated extensively and kids must LOVE it. I could... More

Mexican food in Europe has always been an adventure. In this sense, Pirates KARAKA did not disappoint. I was not expecting a pirate-themed Mexican restaurant. The food was decent, but the drinks were lacking. We ordered several pitchers of margaritas on the rocks. Each pitcher was 90% ice, 10% margarita. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Inexpencive and very good service and food. Also the ambience is convenient. We have been six person and the bill was about 100,00 kn per person or about 20,00$

We arrived and looked at the outdoor seating thinking that the traffic noise would be too much, so we headed into the restaurant which quickly drove us back out to the outdoor seating. The inside was very cave like and was unclean. We should have left then, but... I ordered a Margarita which was basically ice with a little something... More
