Stopped for lunch after being recommended and it was gorgeous. Great place to try Croatian food and beers (which are really smooth and refreshing).

We decided to eat here after a recommendation from our hotel staff. We were not disappointed. The staff greeted us in a friendly way and asked if we would like to sit inside or out, we chose out as it was warm and I love a bit of people watching! The food here was beautiful, my tip would be to... More

This is a great restaurant with excellent service, nice atmosphere, and good food. We first went there for lunch, the terrace was quite empty but filled up soon. There was a group of four that arrived shortly after us, and from the discussion we overheard, it was clear that this was not their first time there during this visit to... More

Great Place! On my first attempt I was turned away. Weekends especially there are a lot of wedding parties eating there and it is a small restaurant. On Wednesday night I was told if I would eat fast, less than an hour, I could have a table but they were all reserved. It was worth the fuss. The service is... More

The Konoba has been recommended in various guides, so we stoped by for a late lunch one day. The food was good, the service OK - but nothing to get excited about. There are many equally good and definitely more charming places to eat in Zagreb.

They are not interested in accommodating walk-ins based on our experience and as mentioned in other reviews. It looked like they could have seated our party of 5 but seemed offended that we had not made a reservation. I think they have become too smug and would urge you not to make the long trek up the hill on the... More

We traveled to Croatia at the end of April for 16 days with friends. Zagreb was our first stop. A local recommended Didov San for good traditional food. The restaurant is small and the atmosphere inviting and comfortable. Our server (I think that his name was Igor) made some excellent suggestions for food and wine. Everything that we tasted was... I booked a table for 5 persons 10 days before the event (based on reviews) and ordered quite expensive specialities for a special family ocasion. The night before we were supposed to arrive, they called me and said that the forecast was bad, and they have no tables inside, so we should go to the other location, in the suburbs.... More

Restaurant was full when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised because the whole upper town would be almost empty. Now we get a little homemade pastries with soft cheeses, wonderful!. for the main course we got teltinu and lamb which were great baked. Prices correspond to the quality of

stay away! Poor resturant! Hours after finishing my dinner at this so called "resturant" the terrible taste of the food was still in my mouth. Only one waiter for the whole restorants! I had to wait forever for each simple request. I had a great time in Zagreb, but this awful place almost ruin the whole experient. I am really... More
