great food in Zagreb

This is a rather small restaurant in the upper town. We were treated very friendly and enjoyed the evening. It's not 100% traditional Croatian cuisine; rather Croatian-based with European influences, e.g. a somewhat French-like sauce for the vegetables. Especially the fish (sea bass) was... read more

We were looking for a place to eat and having looked at good reviews from trip advisor so we decided to take a look at this place. We arrived there after 8:30pm and were politely asking the waiter any availability for tonight. The waiter replied in an abrupt and angrily voice ! "I DO NOT KNOW" and went back to... More

The restaurant is set in the quite area of Zagreb. The ambiance is perfect for a quite and elegant dinner. The restaurant does not have fixed menu so dishes change from one time to another. Therefore most dishes are made of fresh products. This made it very easy for the chef to prepare gluten free food for us. The selection... More

We visited Trilogija July 2014 and it was one of our favorite dinner experiencs for our entire five week holiday. The same is true in 2015. Another fabulous meal served by Ivan (again) paired with wonderful selection of wines. Enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine, Enjingi, 2006 Barrique Kasna Berba. After our meal we asked where we could purchase another... More

Me and my French friend went to Trilogija for a dinner and glass of wine to try it out since I've seen it's been quite popular among tourists and also the recommendation from New York Times. Totaly worth it and I can see why. The atmosphere in this smaller and warm restourant is nice and romantic. I liked the details... More

I'm proud about this restaurant. Definitely a restaurant which you need to visit while your stay in Zagreb. It's good to make reservation because it's always full. Restaurant is placed in historical part of Zagreb and you can have nice walk to this nice place. Food....well what to say... You can trust waiter. They will recommend you what to eat... More

We arrived early as we hadn't made a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table. The service was one of the best we have ever received. The waiter was kind, friendly and very sweet. The food was fantastic too. We had three courses and a few drinks and it came to no more than £50 which we thought... More

We visited this highly rated restaurant after visiting the Kamenita vrata gate in the upper part of old Zagreb. The dining area is relatively small, without much of any view outside. However the atmosphere is warm, with vaulted, brick ceilings. Reservations a must. It is fully booked every night. Most impressive is the restaurant’s attentive and passionate waiter Ivan. There... This little restaurant changes its menu regularly to reflect what's available in the market. The local focus means everything is fresh and the waiter was happy to help us choose a Croatian wine to accompany our lunch. Good food, and the portions were filling.

Limited menu but good service and the food and wine were excellent. A welcome change from Italian restaurants. You may need to book in the summer season.
