Decent food with a solid presentation. Our waiter was a little too overbearing on the opinions and menu choices. I know what I like and don't need a scoffing opinion on my choices of food and wine pairing. All personal experience aside, food was pretty good. The prices were average for a good restaurant that takes Amex. The back room... More

We had a dinner for two and are very happy about it. The restaurant is located on the main walking street, but the terrace is raised above so it is quiet and picturesque. The food feels authentic and interesting, and the taste is just as great. Chocolate & almond tart is delicious for a desert with a cup of coffee.

I went to Agava a few times, after the first time I couldn't not come back! Good food and good service! The price is a little high but hey it's totally worth it!

This was my second visit to Agava. The set menu has more choices. The food was good and the service was attentive.

Been there with friends. We took variety of food, all courses, drinks, etc - price was very friendly. Food was high standard but bit small portions. Also the servise was friendly and good - they asked about everything and also were able to recommend the food and drinks. Recommend to try.

Absolutely loved this restaurant and one of my most favourite dining experiences whilst in Zagreb. I went with a group for lunch and it was my best meal during my 3 day stay in Zagreb. The service was impeccable and I was extremely impressed by Pedrag an experienced gentleman who served us. I was blown away by his attention to... More

this very well located restaurant in a walking street with local shops and old building around. I found it great experience, the food quality was wow and the way they serve is so elegant and friendly.... the terrace of the restaurant is very lovely getting you a very nice dinning earpiece. I invited a group of business colleagues from UK,... More

That diner in Restoran has changed my perception about grilled fish. Since than my pick is "fish al forno" (backed) with fresh domestic vegetables. I did not know what is better, fish or vegetables? ...or bunch of warm domestic bread dipped in incredible juice under. That was different kind of fish diner thanks to our waiter.

This is probably one of the Zagreb's finest restaurants. Very delicate dishes and great wines, all reasonably prices, but service could be a bit more friendly.
