"Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere. This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond. So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... Just above the hustle and bustle of Tkalciceva Street where all the action happens in Zagreb, I loved the service and food in Agava restaurant. The waiter was very accommodating and made me feel welcome right away. In general, I love places like Agava. They are somewhat understated from the street and elegantly simple inside. Good music and quiet service.... More

The food was very good specially the French onion soup as appetitive. We went there without reservation and were seated very fast. It is right between the cafés with a nice view of the frequently visited street.

Walk up the stairs from the street and find a culinary pleasure spiced with exquisite service. We ate lamb chops and duck. Both were very good. Hvala!

i would class this as a very good restaurant but not excellent. Reason being that the food is very good but not outstanding. Contrary to other comments I found the customer service to be excellent & the Croatian wine my server recommended was top notch. Another plus is if you are paying in GB £ the rate of exchange is... Ate here with friends in our first night in Zagreb. Food great, service excellent and a good wine list. Relaxed experience and good value for money lie, everything in Zagreb. Recommended.

Nice location of the restaurant, not very easy to find but atractive. The food is ok, the menu is to big and the staff is a little bit unfriendly with suggestions. Plate dishes are to small fot such a high price but vine selection is wide and excelent.

You just won't get enough of the amazing tastes in Agava. We went their for Valentine's day and had high expectations. It was very hard to exceed them, but Agava did it. Even though portions would seem small-medium at first sight, believe me, you'll be full and happy with whatever you order. Selection of main dishes is a dream and... More

I travel a lot and therefore eat all kinda of food and cuisines in many different countries and I can undoubtedly say that this was one of the best tuna steaks and truffle pastas I have ever tasted. Make sure you drop by Agava even for a quick lunch.
