For a restaurant thatv offers traditional Bulgarian dishes which I assume caters to many international people, the waiters don't speak English well. Before we ordered, we asked about the 'entrance fee', the waiter said we don't have to pay that. We stayed for the show which was really nice as we even joined in some of the dances. At the... More

Having visited many traditional bulgarian restaurants over the years, we decided to try this one and 12 of us went for a friends birthday. I would say the food was average, seeing the price of the wine should have alerted us, way too much for what was on offer, but the food looked reasonably priced. The waiter persuaded us to... More

I visit this restaurant every day with my colleagues during the lunch time. We had one special night at the middle of December 2013 with traditional bulgarian dances, song and food.

Strange evening out - good food but an evening of slightly over the top Bulgarian dancing and singing.

We wanted to experience some live Bulgarian dancing and food and so went to this restaurant on recommendation, a little tongue in cheek, thinking it would be a tourist trap. On arrival, we were even more dubious as the location of this restaurant has to be seen to be believed. Although it was dark, it felt like we were being... More

We were a group of about 8 people spending an evening in this traditional restaurant. The menu is really huge and it is not easy to make up your mind. After ordering food comes fast and in good quality. However it is not a gourmet restaurant. I liked a lot the dancing performance (traditional Bulgarian dances), however some of the... More

This place was a big disappointment- we should have gone again to manastirska magernitza instead. The building is a bit strange, it felt like going to a high school gym. The food was ok but did not have the authentic touch of manastirska, nor the selection. The menu had the obvious Bulgarian dishes but nothing out of the ordinary. Service... More

We tried this restaurant due to good reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The ambience is cosy decorated with Bulgarian artifacts, and light coming from candles from every table. The menu was varied and provided a good insight to Bulgarian cuisine. We tried several specialties for our first courses such as breaded cheese, stuffed mushrooms and the... More
