On my first night in Sofia, my friend treated me to dinner at this fantastic restaurant. As challenging as it was for foreigners like us to find, at night, such a remote restaurant in the mountains, once we got there, the trouble was all worth it. The food was delicious beyond words: We had a meal that was fit for... More

Introduced to by Bulgarian friends...lovely place with fantastic food, great service and entertainment including the firewalking. Traditional dancing was lovely...only down side was bit more expensive than 'happy village' in Boris park. Probably due to being more tourist and business oriented. Went to happy village previous night and were the only foreign visitors. Not a problem as still had great... More

This restaurant is a good place for big companies! The food is delicious , the atmosphere is nice, the staff is brilliant and is a good choice to go there during the hot summer, because there are trees all around-it's in the Vitosha mountain! Really nice-recommended!

We were there for a social event (around 70 people). Everything was perfect (food, program, service...). I strongly recommend this place for the travellers or business groups, who would like to enjoy a real bulgarian cuisine and great atmosphere.

This was our second time here and it was every bit as good as it was a year ago. Their menu is really extensive, so it's hard to choose. One caution though - don't over-order - the servings are huge. Everything is reasonably priced. Waiters speak English fluently. One little disappointment was the hominy w. feta cheese that I ordered,... More

Great restaurant, up on the mountain, in a very beautiful scenery. I didn't try the outdoor seating because it was still cold and we went for dinner. We were nicely surprised by the show of traditional dances and music, very nice especially if you are a foreigner. Food was great, huge portions. We had as a starter the salad platter... More

Okay, the location of this place is up on Vitosha mountain, so a bit far from the centre. However, the best thing about it is the fire-walking events - really the only reason to go! The food is average to good (and often very salty), but for example not as good as pod lipite's food, and more expensive. It's got... More

It combines everything - location, atmosphere, kitchen, service. It is not accidental that all official foreign delegations are inevitable taken there by their hosts willing to demonstrate our culture, cuisine and hospitality. But what's best about it is that in my own experience, you are treated the same even if you go alone for a soup only.
