I strongly recommend restaurant "Pri Yafata" in downtown Sofia. It is located in a beautiful neoclassical house just opposite the National Opera House. The food is great, the service is impeccable. Try it when you visit Sofia and you won't be mistaken :)

We have eaten here both in summer and now, autumn. We really enjoyed each meal. The salads are tremendous and main courses are very tasty. There is a good choice of beverage, and the service is good too. This is a place I will return to.

An excellent eating place to be recomended. We had a mixed grill of good quality meat and great variety. Quite a plate-full too! A free starter was unexpectedly provided. The wine was good and not at all expensive. Very good value for money all round. Friendly and attentive service. Not at all touristy, but the menue is available in English.

The restaurant is in downtown Sofia across the national Opera house. We made the reservation well ahead to make sure we have a table for a company of eight with the idea of experiencing the true bulgarian cuisine and folk program that the restaurant advertises. However , turned out that the same night which was Saturday there was no program... More

There were 6 of us, and based on a map picked up from the hotel, which stated the restaurant as Bulgarian Cuisine, we wanted to try it out for dinner It wasn't overly difficult to find from our hotel, the Radisson Blu. When we walked in, the person we went stated that he didn't speak English, and asked us to... More

I visited the restaurant almost before end of working time. They still accommodated me, saying nothing about time. The food was delicious, awesome traditional music, the service could not be better. The prices are slightly higher but for the ambience were good. Very very pleased!

Got recommended this place, and all seemed very good, there was an excellent complementary start, we had ordered some starters that were also really very good, and we were very excited about the main courses, and both were not very good, really disappointing given that the starters were so good. It was a real let down. It almost felt that... More

Close to our hotel, we picked the restaurant based on other Tripadvisor reviews. We shared the stuffed goat cheese with dates and drizzled with honey followed by the milk veal (mouthwatering) with juniper berries, accompanied by spinach and mashed potatoes. A glass of Zagora beer rounded off the meal. Good price, friendly service, good location.

Good food at reasonable prices. We wanted just a light bite of Bulgarian food at affordable prices and that was what we got. We order local wine, a chopped salad (tomatoes, cucumber and Bulgarian cheese) - more than enough for two to share. Then we ordered a stuffed pepper which was quite good. Our bill was quite reasonable and looking... More
