When I found this place, it was full so I didn't have a place to sit, I had to sit outside and it was pretty cold. They have the best cevapi with kajmak and onions in town. The price was acceptable.

Best Cevapcici in Sarajevo. So, what is a Cevapcici? It is what your cardiologist, your internist and your common sense tell you ‘is not good for you.’ A more constructive description is a collection of small sausages, probably beef, in a pita bread with side of chopped onions and special cheese. Unquestionably the most popular dish in Sarajevo and for... More

We were there in 2007 and now again in 2014 - nothing changed; they are still the best! Staff and food is amazing; if you are looking to try cavapi this is the place!

Very seldom do I ever express criticism or pessimism. However, there are annoyances that are deemed necessary to mention. In Sarajevo, Željo and čevapi are synonymous. I found the food to be simple, lackluster, and not reflective of the restaurant's high reputation; Concern - - the food was bland; Major concern - - the food was served cold after a... More

This restaurant is very famous in Sararejo, and is really worth it eating a cevapi there! Good prices and awesome cevapi, the tipical dish from the Balkans!

Cevabi is finger shaped meatballs. I don't know why its a hype, its so common all over the world at least among Turkish people. Here in Sarajevo they serve cevabi in pita and add thick yogurt (kajmak) in plate. It was tasty but for me cevabi is something very ordinary. They have 2 shops nearly facing each other so you... We visited Zeljo as a part of our vein-clogging search for the best cevapi in Sarajevo. We ended up being unable to rank the places we visited, but Zeljo is definitely right up there. Their cevapi have a particularly smokey flavor and, judging by the other guests who were there at the time of our visit, they are hugely popular... More

Sarajevo is known by its speciality cevapcici and this is one of the best places to try them. Once you start you can't stop like you are eating popcorns. Big recomendation.
