Wonderful traditional little restaurant

We ended up in this place looking for a place where we could have a traditional Yugoslavian breakfast and it surpass our expectations. We order traditional eggs with meat (beef) and they were amazing, very different to I've tried before but great. The staff, a lady traditionally dressed and a guy... read more

We had a really hard time finding this place from the brochure because the map was wrong. But after we had given up on it, we stumbled across it. It was a chilly day but when we stepped inside we were greeted with the warmth of a wood-burning stove. The menu had English on it and the waiter spoke English... More

I went there with my friends for breakfast. We tried the eggs with meat. They were delicious. The Bosnian coffee is so good. You can see how the cook your food because the kitchen is open. The people there were really nice. You must try those eggs.

Went there for dinner. Lots on traditional Bosnian food influenced by turkish cousine on the menu. We were alone in the restaurant, waiter attentive and we oredered an apetizer - spinach+cheese phyllo triangle, which was good, tasty & warm. I loved one of their main dishes Sarajevski sahan - ground beef stuffed peppers and onions with sauce - they were... More

While wandering through these little streets of downtown Sarajevo one cold December evening, we decided to check this place as it was simply nearby. Best decision ever!! Variety of choices is outstanding, place is warm and cosy, and prices are just ridiculously low. Everything was fresh and very tasty, and yes - it really does remind "grandma's cooking". You can... The reason we stopped at this restaurant was that the beautiful tables outside caught my attention. The food was great, so I'm really glad we stopped. I had the pasta stuffed with cheese-- amazing. Service was good and the food was prepared and served in a timely manner. We ate at several different places in Bascarsija but this one was... More

Having had the traditional Burek breakfast for the first two mornings in Bosnia we were then struggling to find something different as they don't really have pastries like in Croatia. We then stumbled upon this cafe in the old town... Here you can sit outside and watch the passers whilst enjoying a Bosnian coffee (like Turkish). For food there was... More
