I was fortunate enough to hear about Karuzo from a friend of mine I met while backpacking. The food was so amazing that I actually went twice in one day! The restaurant itself is incredibly cute and cozy, and the chef and owner is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Karuzo has a charm about it that anyone will... More

My friends and I heard about this place through other travelers. We tried it out and were blown away. Delicious food, great service, and amazing atmosphere. Portion sizes are large and filling, menu has an array of options, and Sasa explains each dish amazingly well. Highly recommend! Going back tonight for more!

As we had read here about others that were amazed my this restaurant we had to try it out by our selfes. We can only agree with what most people here say. It is a fantastic experience in every way. In the end went there tree times in 48 hours. Two dinners and one lunch. Go there, you wont regret... More

Our group of 5 each had a different main course (some vegetarian, some fish/seafood). Every single one of them was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. Vegan deserts were unexpectedly scrumptious. House white wine (Žilavka) is highly commendable, dry and fruity. And don't be in a hurry, the extremely likeable restaurant owner Saša cooks himself, assisted (on this evening) only by... More

My friend and I ate here for dinner on our last night in Sarajevo. What an experience! It was just a warm inviting atmosphere and Saša looked after us (and everybody else) on his own all night and did it with a huge smile. It's evident he really enjoys food and was so pleased when we enjoyed the meal. The... More

I am not vegetarian - I visited this restaurant with my vegetarian friend. I was really positive surprised, how tasty and delicious food is there prepared. Dont expect low cost restaurant, but it is pay off. Owner alone is famous Bosnian propagator of vegetarian food and prepared this food personally. Fully recommended!

We went to Karuzo looking for veg friendly food. They have a long menu and several specials, and despite only the chef working, as mentioned previously he is also host and server, you feel welcomed and taken care of as if there were several staff. Everything was delicious, but the home made seitan chili was a standout. Meals are expensive,... More

I am staying for two months in Sarajevo for an internship at the hospital. When I have the time I always go to Karuzo for good food. The place is really cosy decorated and the owner is friendly and even more important: a real topchef! There are a lots of different things on the menu to chose from! This is... More

My girlfriend and I visited Karuzo on a trip around Europe in August. Sacha was on his own and was the host, barman, waiter and chef. He was so friendly despite clearly being rushed off his feet. The food took a long time but we were aware that this would be the case, however, it was more than worth it.... More

It is difficult to find a good vegetarian place in Sarajevo, but Karuzo is a really good choice! The dishes are creative, fresh and healthy and the owner is friendly. Don't be suspicious because of the outer appearance of the restaurant - you won't regret it! It is a little pricey though, considering how cheap you can eat at other... More
