Please, for goodness sake, go to this tea shop. It's right around the corner from where you'll probably be anyway, and yet the street is tucked away and quiet. The man who owns it is the most sincere, calm man you could hope to meet, and he knows his stuff. I spent three afternoons in a row here, listening to... More

After struggling for over a week without an proper cup of tea, we visited Sarajevo and came across this gem, a tea heaven, actually only wanted a cup of English tea, but was introduced to some delicious blends by very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. A great new experience and a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

It is away from the center and Old Town, and up an incline, and the google map is all wrong, but once you find this place, you can sit and sip teas from all over the world (well India, China and Sri Lanka make up the entire tea world!). I reached just before 10 (the opening time) and waited for... More

Staff is nice and there is lots of tea to choose from. I'm not much of a tea drinker but I'm still happy I paid a visit. I would recommend going as a group and sampling many different types of tea and split them among you if, like me, you want to do a tasting and you aren't too sophisticated.... More

Don't think you will just drink a cup of tea at Franz & Sophie, but regard it as a tea experience! The really friendly engaging owner has an exquisite knowledge on all the teas available and you will immediately find yourself a nice conversion topic, whether it is about tea or something else. A true gem in Sarajevo and really... More

If you love tea, then Franz & Sophie is the Tea House to track down! This is where Cajdzinica Dzrilo get their tea from. Dr. Adnan Smajić is a Sommelier Za Čaj (Tea Sommelier) and he can help you pick some of the tastiest teas I've ever had. You just have to take a seat and relax and take it... More

Franz and Sophie's tea shop is the best little place to just sit down, and have a cup of tea after a long jaunt through Sarajevo. The Balkan capital is full of shops, but this one in particular offers knowledge, good conversation, great atmosphere and a HUGE assortment of tea. The best was a Caramel Fig Black tea, among others.... More

Even though im mostly a coffee drinker, i can appreciate the athmosphere and the huge assortiment of tea they have here. Situated not on the main toruist road, makes this an escape for the tourists. They give good advice, let you smell the teas before you chose and give lots of tea, all for reasonable price. Keep up the good... More
