Quaint decor

Central in Old Town with interesting ambience. Food good, service good but would not rate it as well as other restaurants that we visited in Sarajevo during our stay there.

Homemade bread is a must try. Food is a bit on the pricey side but is worth it. Nice interior, good service. It's not a culinary adventure , it's just a very nicely cooked local food.

First of all, the decor: Plants, details, a modern, romantic kitsch that is actually really cool and cozy. Prices are a bit higher than in other places, but you don't feel in a tourist trap: although the portions are still big, as usual in the region, they are not as greasy (which provides a break for your body - don't... It was our second visit to the restaurant Dveri after few months. In my previous review abut this place I was quite critical about the service, but this time it was really excellent. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and he really took care that everything was perfect. it was a great pleasure to be treated this way. And the... More

Didn't know what to expect as I don't usually like tourist areas. We were only people in but place quickly filled up. Think you're best to reserve. I'm a vegetarian (but have very high standards) and I had stuffed eggplant - delicious and they actually made an effort with it. However - did have Parmesan sprinkled on (which isn't veggie)... I was part of a big group that had lunch at Dveri while exploring the old city. It is a lovely setting, like an oasis in the bustling city. We had a very pleasant meal, enjoying the attentive service and, particularly, the freshly baked breads. The portions were substantial - I could not finish everything - and everything was well-presented... More

Very good food in a very good atmosphere. Prices are average but the quality is above average. If you come to sarajevo, you absolutely should visit.

Recommended by our hotel staff. In the Old Town of Sarajevo. Varied menu including meat, fish a a few vegetarian choices. Prices very reasonable, portion size quite good and quality excellent. Liked what we had so much the first night that we re-visited the second and ordered the exact same meal. Had a seafood risotto and a sautéed squid dish.... More

Cute venue, but average at best service and food were disappointing after reading the other reviews. The freshly baked bread and house wines were the highlights for us.

Our waiter was a totally unfriendly guy who let us know that he does not consider us to be worthy customers. A big minus for the place. The food was great. the sea food salad is a surprise. It is not just randomly mixed things together but a real dish with its own taste. The cuisine is a tourist-friendly mix... More
