I'm a vegetarian and I don't speak Russian so I didn't get a lot of great meals during our ten days in Belarus but we went to this restaurant on our last night and it was a real delight as the menu had photos and English translations and the service and the food were excellent. Love the crazy colourful décor... More

According to its web-site restaurant Jomalungma has two residences: 7 Gikalo Street and a new complex of restaurant and bistro at the Minsk National Airport. We’ve been in the last one. At the airport. The main expression in two words is a Great Astonishment. To understand it, one has to see the Minsk airport. The airport of Minsk is special.... More

My favourite resteraunt in Minsk is run by Nepaleese staff and offers a Bible sized menu of oriental choices that are surprisingly goos bearing in mind the choice they offer. In addition, on a Friday night they entertain the guaests with belly dancing. Great place

Don't go for the sushi here. All the other cuisines -- Indian, Nepalese, Tibetan, Chinese -- are worth exploring although I agree with that reviewer "Puteen" that Minsk badly needs a good Chinese restaurant. There is the cafe Pekinskaya Utka, Puskin Street, 8, but the food is average and a bit underspiced there but relatively cheap if you want to... More

Mediocre and dull, problems with ventilation, everybody is smoking. Strange, it is expensive. Food is nothing special.

I have been a big fan of this restaurant. BUT lately service is going south, quality of food is deteriorating, portions are reducing & atmosphere is not, what it used to be. Waitress kept on forgetting the dishes which we ordered. Wine collection is very poor. Beer is expensive, and there is hardly any choice..Minsk badly needs a decent Chinese... More

Been there twice. Once shared a fantastic dinner with a couple of Indian travelers and shook hands to the chef from Nepal and everything - all perfect except for the burning mouth). Second time two Gulf tourists spent the eternity waiting for the soup they never liked and the bill that nearly gave them a heart attack.

This restaurant is nice restaurant with pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service, but usually only russian speaking waiter, but the menu is both in English and Russian. I have never had any problems with ordering even though I do not speak Russian

Excellent athmosphere (Buddhist, with Jomolungma, Annapurna and other great photos on the walls, candle smell, quiet relaxing music, several rooms) and great cuisine. Owner and chief cook is from Nepal. Five (!) cuisines (Nepal, Tibet, China, India, Japan) with the thickest menu I have ever seen. I tried almost everything for two years of regular visiting, everything is available and... More

Ok Jumalungma, I love the spirit of your cater-to-all-tastes menu, but this is no way to run a restaurant. When you try and serve sushi along with indian food, chinese food, and thai food (I'm sure I'm missing the Italian and Irish menu items) you end up with bad food all round. Stick with the indian food that you used... More
