Love the locals!

Our ship is overnighting in Tahiti so we asked our tour guide for a restaurant recommendation and he said Au Piment Rogue. Au Piment Rouge is a cute little restaurant in Papeete that has great food and service. I highly recommend the axoa (a veal stew) and the calamari with chorizo.

We had a very relaxing, delicious early lunch here while in Papeete. It's on a busy street, but you feel far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The waiters are friendly and attentive. The food was yummy and in the style of the South of France.
