The Indian food was just like a not brilliant Indian restaurant in New Zealand: uninspiring. I want real Fijian Indian food when in Fiji, not a bland version of what I can get at home; maybe that is just me.

Had a couple of meals and drinks at the Sitar. Wonderful flavours, good portions and terrific value The staff were all ways friendly and attentive and all in all the visits were great. A small area off to the side for drinks and a quiet newspaper read was a nice touch for an early morning visit. I will visit the... More

I have been here a number of times over the years and continue to find the food and its sevice, a consistantly high standard. The flavours are authentic and not dumbed down to a percieved tourist taste level. I have only had Indian dishes here, rather than the Thai they also serve, so cant really comment on them, except to... More

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff very attentive. They do serve a lot so you are really full when finished. They had live music and we were able to sit outside and watch the activities.

I'm veggie, my husband isn't. We tried all ways to get this restaurant to allow him one meat meal with a veggie banquet, including obviously offering to pay the difference. Management wouldn't allow it. The waiting staff seemed lovely and the food looked good, shame I didn't get to taste any of it.

The restaurant where we stayed looked less than inviting so we thought we'd try venturing out. And we are stoked we did!! This is a great place for a nice meal with a bit of atmosphere. The meals were made fresh and very authentic. Nice fresh food at a pretty fair price. Definitely go again. We even got take away... More

I went today and got the butter chicken. It was perfect! Extremely authentic, and came with plenty so it really fills you up. I also asked for it spicy and it wasn't too overwhelming. Just enough! Also, get the banana smoothie. All your dreams will come true with just one sip.

I was a bit drunk... but still this restaurant was tasty and affordable. It didn't blow my mind but I appreciated the meal and ate heartily. As I've said - I like to eat and this is your stock standard Indian fare...

I visited this hotel with a group of friends this week and wanted to report what a great night we had. Excellent food on the menu, quick, courteous service, reasonable prices and a wonderful atmosphere. Plus the toilets were really nicely maintained. A1!!

We never visit Nadi without making a point of visiting Sitar. The beauty of it is the wide variety of Indian & Thai dishes, we dined there for lunch 28-5-14 and shared the lunch special curried chicken complete with condiments, rice & roti, also the lamb curry and Thai chicken fried rice, washed down with the compulsary ice cold Corona...
