Relaxing with good food

We were looking for a nice quiet place where we can enjoy some drinks, have a meal and most importantly live music on a Sunday! We found this at sitar, cute little cabanas where we sat back and enjoyed a nice bottle of Red. Service staff were very attentive and switched on, sometimes when you have... read more

The menu looked great and the prices were reasonable. However, the food itself [mains] was from poor quality cuts of meat and some dishes we left aside and ate little. Accompaniments were great and the Thai part of the menu was much better, although the restaurant is distinctly Indian. Can't fault the staff and service was excellent. It was just... More

We stayed in Nadi a couple nights during our honeymoon and this restaurant was recommended. The inside is nice. It was busy and loud. My husband ordered the chicken tikka masala which was good. I ordered the chicken Fiji style bone in. I should have know as we've traveled to other countries, but "bone in" means cut up with the... More

I would advice not to dine in this restaurant. We had to wait for about 45 minutes to be served. Worst part is the taste of the food. Taste is also no good. Mango and sweet Lassi was terrible. The dining area was stingy and uncomfortable. Staffs and waitress are friendly. Nice atmosphere with outdoor live music.

We had dinner here last night. Our waitress was outstanding and exceptionally friendly. She made every effort to explain the dishes and the ingredients. The service was great. I ordered a seafood stir fry and it was average . My husband ordered a suggested lamb dish and found that most pieces of the lamb were tough and chewy. I had... More

We ate at the Sitar restaurant on our last night in Fiji. my wife is an extremely fussy vegetarian eater and said that her meal was one of the best Indian meals that she had ever eaten. The restaurant has an extensive vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu. i really enjoyed my chicken korma as well. And... in true Fijian fashion -... More
